Dear Belgrader,

one missing church bell does not constitute that the church was destroyed. Vandalized is the correct term, not destroyed.

I believe the author used the word desecrate, worlds apart from destroyed. Also if the Serbs had done it to stir up publicity, I doubt they would have only taken off the bell.

While your claims that serbs are responsible for the desecration of their own church on Zadušnice do not surprise me, they do sadden me.

Perhaps you believe that serbs are also responsible for the desecration of serb graves quite literally all over Kosovo?

This is a day on which we remember, reflect & mourn for our dead.

KASTRIOTI:

You discount the most obvious & plausible culprits - disaffected & unemployed K-albanian youth with nothing better to do.

To say that K-albanians would not do such a thing because it is against their interest implies K-albanian's are universally rational. This is of course not true - will always be hot/empty-heads.

Question this act raises is about K-albanian mindset.

If this sort of act is tolerated & excused right after declaration of independence, what can serbs expect after world focus shifts to other matters?

KS:

Yes, church in Novake was 'merely' vandalised.

However believe 'belgrader' was referring to 100+ other churches razed/bombed/burnt down by K-albanians in last 8 or so years during which they were supposedly respecting the rights of minorities.

Mirsad, I cannot see how you can claim that Serbs blatantly did this to destabilse the North of Mitrovica. Where this happened is a long way from there for a start and why would the Serbs want to destabilse the North of Mitrovica anyway?

If you want to post accusations it helps to make them believable.

Whoever the author, it is a disgrace. It is most likely not an Albanian act because there is nothiong to gain and everything to loose from such an act. However, it is a lot to gain for Belgrade for this kind of act. I would bet money that this is an undercover MUP job. It is not the first time they done this. It is time for Serbia to play constructeively to better the live of serbs in Kosova. This will definitely be a bad blow for peace and ultimately will punish both Serbs and Albanians.

This was blatantly pursued by serbs in an attempt to destabalize the north of mitrovica. Rest assured, the EU and the USA are not that stupid...

Kosovans would never act in such a way when they have already gained their independence, up until now only the serbian minority in kosovo have been rioting the finished independence.

Kostunica should look again in his book of ideas.

Serbia is going back 20 years. Politicians from the communist party are praising kostunica for pursuing milosevic policies. Wake up sebia! kosovo is independent, it is in your interest to accept it and move toward EU integration.
