I don't hear you complaining when Ceku and Thaci apre prefiexed with "former KLA commanders", so why does it bother you that this guy is named as "former Arkan ally?" He apparently was that, so no one is lying here.
As for the target audience, this site is not intended for 7 year olds, but some commentators here do have a habit of throwing tantrums like ones when they don't like the news (that goes for both sides).

B92 why mention first that he was Arkan's ally? So that anything he says afterwards will be discredited? So people will think "Oh this guy was a friend of the notorious Arkan" So by impliction he must be a criminal also and therefore his comment cannot be taken seriously.Who is your target audience a 7 year old?

"Instead of doing their jobs, they wish this story about Kosovo to go on for the next ten years, just as the one about the Republic of Srpska," Marković was critical.
Right on. They know they lost Kosova, they will try to play the game and stay in power for the next 10 years. Ten more years of luxury using Serbian people's resources and this done all in the name of patriotism.

Where do all these a.k.a's come from? Palma, Arkan, Bugsy and so on. Does the press love these guys so much that they need to publicise and label them with these "pet names", or is it the public that fancies these ominous figures?

Odd habit anyway, from this perspective.

the moves the Serbian government is making over Kosovo Albanians' unilateral independence declaration are "not solving the problem".

It is a little too early yet, but so far this statement holds true! The other side knows the details of the "action plan" and so far it is more plan than action. After the UDI a Chinese official made a keen observation, I will paraphrase it. He said only a weak mother country could allow its territory to declare a UDI without doing anything substantially to stop it. He concluded that other states (including China) should make sure they are strong enough to prevent such aggression against it. Serbia is not weak, but its leadership is.

If only this was a genuine feeling from Markovic. In reality it only displays what many of us already know - 'patriotism' is preached until somebody pays enough shut up money, or money to completely change minds.

Markovic is above all a businessman, I wonder if he's doing business with an international firm or a Kosovo Albanian one.

You got to just love principled 'patriots'...

It makes you think, doesn’t it? This can be only two things.
1. That the current government is more nationalistic that associates of paramilitaries. Or
2. That associates paramilitaries have more sense than the current government.
I do not know which one to pick.

He is right, Serbia is not wise by recalling ambassadors. If it is only temporary for consultations, then OK, but if this is the beginning of Serbia isolating itself from the countries that recognize Kosovo then it is foolish.

Wow even Dragan Markovic as a hard nationalist is realizing that Kostunica government is making bad moves in regards to kosova and that kosova is a done deal.
I hope that some commentators here see that even a hard nationalist like Markovic is accepting the new reality.
