A logical fallacy here. If the basketball player is calling for unity among orthodox believers, he is surely leaving out a great majority of non-believers, agnostics, and atheists alike. If he is suggesting that people need to embrace religion and then find unity, maybe we need to wait for a little bit longer for the results of this hypothetical scenario. I recon this has nothing to do with religion.
Beware of basketball players turned preachers trying to speak on behalf of other nations. Very strange indeed.

Recognizing the illegal and immoral 'greater albania' plan has nothing to do with public opinion. If it did, it would never happen. Look at Poland, which has a public overwhelmingly against this move, but the lap dog government does what their masters tell them, same thing goes for Italy.
Bodiroga is right. We miss you Dejo, you are an inspiration to all Serbs.

"…He called on the Serb people to build a unified stand on the Kosovo question, and to maintain their dignity and "never forget three months of bombing, depleted uranium and all other troubles".

"My political option is Serbia. Unity above all. …this is a national issue. Our Orthodox faith ought to be the foundation of everything, to bring us together, so that we know who and what we are, always respecting all others,…"

Yes, well said, I agree completely

Seems that the wellknown dejan Bodiroga will candidate in the next elections in Serbia. Playing with Kosovo issue is a very safe card to win popularity. However is funny in his statements like most of the italians are against Kosovo independence like he made a research that lasted few year, or employed Gallup to make a reliable poll regarding this sensitive issue. Bodiroga showed once again that he is the best shooter in distance. I really wish that his political carrer will be as bright as the basketball one.

GOOD FOR YOU BODIGORA! What ever makes you happy!

Dont have your hopes high though. However, I am under impression that the government of Italy has already recognized Kosovo's independence. You might have been in a training camp or busy shooting hoops. perhaps you didnt hear it in the news.

I'm not surprised. For example many citizens in the EU want a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty but as usual their their respective governments "spoke on behalf" of them and railroaded the thing through.

Its the same thing with Kosovo.
