Bmrusila, unfortunately I can say the same things about the Serbs in which they desecrated Croatian cemeteries and Catholic churches across the so-called "Krajina". I saw often enough where Croatian headstones were smashed with mallets, tombs blown up, crosses pulled out, etc. So much for Serbian christian values. Even the tomb of famous sculpture Ivan Mestrovic was ransacked, considering his "Statue of the Victor" overlooks Belgrade .....

Wow sin, isn't that a load of frog or what? Funny how iv only ever seen videos showing serbian churches being vandalised. You want to know something even more amazing. My home town of Erdevik, right in Serbia, which i have visited 5 times since 2000 has a catholic church in the centre of town. Want to know something even more bizzare? That church is over 60 years old, and in its entire history, even during the war, not once, not once ever have the serbs vandalised it. Even more amazing when some drunk ended up setting fire to the cafe next door because they wouldnt allow him entry, and you want to know the first thing they did? Made sure it didnt reach the church. That church is still there, always has been and no doubt will be for ages to come, if you like ill even send you images of it. On the other hand, the dead of the serbs cant even rest in peace. Wow the albanians on this sight will do anything to try and justify it. And you ask why we are apposed to independence?

No matter what relegion a person claims he follows, that person is in no way, shape or form a religious person if he can desecrate any holy ground.

Afrim....
Your comments are disgusting, and so long as your society silently accepts barbarous acts like this, you will never have a normal society..

Afrim Hoxha:

Leaving aside the question as to how serbs can be deemed to be 'occupiers' of a land in which they have been living for centuries & all other questions of legality & illegality for the moment, this is an issue that concerns really BASIC human rights.

The dead cannot harm anyone.

ALL mothers, fathers, sons & daughters, be they serb or albanian, christian or muslim - must be allowed to grieve for their loved ones in peace.

No excuses.

This.. must.. stop.

I regret that this is happening. The dead should rest in peace, no matter what ethnicity they belong to. And the fact that Albanians still don't know where the people that is missing are should not justify these things. Revenge must stop, for our own good too.

There are more pictures at yahoo sites and they are the story in itself.I been sending them to all my american friends who are in disbelief that us goverment had hand in forming ethnicly clean muslim state in europe.
Those pictures are why normal societies would never recognize illegal separation of Kosovo.

Afrim Hoxha,

Serbia has never occupied Kosovo since Kosovo was and still is inseparable part of Serbia and its southern province, and believe it or not Kosovo is still Serbian province according to resolution 1244 which is still in force and which will be until abolished.

Mr Afrim, Nothing has happened to Albanian graves ever. I was in Kosovo during 90’s and nothing like that I have seen, but I have seen frequently destroyed Serbian graves as an act of retaliation for some reasons known only to Albanians. Better to say, each time Albanian felt frustrated they would go to Serbian cemetery and completely desecrate, as well as our other religious and cultural monuments. The intact Albanian cemetery in Northern part of Mitrovica proves my claims.

Then, you furthermore complain that other dead Albanians do not have their graves due to crimes committed by Serbian force. Yes, that is perhaps true, but the truth is that there are thousands of Serbs taken and slaughtered by the KLA (UCK) somewhere in Kosovo, most likely in Albania as well, who do not have their graves. You see, there is not only one side story, but the truth has two or more sides.

But as Kenyans would say –hakuna matata

BMRUSILA, did you ever care to know what happened to albanian graves when Kosova was occupied by Serbia? I feel sorry for you that you have been inflamed by Milosevic's propaganda that now is being orchestrated by Kostunica
Nobody's graves should be damaged but do you also know that there are thousands of albanians who do not even have graves because they were murdered and hidden even in Serbia by serb military?
Do you remember when Serbia used to bring back to kosova dead bodies of killed albanians?
If you never heard or never wanted to hear about the mass graves of killed albanians sent to Serbia here is the link

I hope you understand a little bit of reality.

It's hard to imagine the sort of people who would commit such acts - they are beneath contempt.

And if a society cannot prevent such brutal attacks on the dead, how then can it dare to claim that it will protect the rights of the minorities that are still alive.

bmrusila

This is a shame for one society, this is a shame for the EU to tolerate such vandalism. With such mentality Albanians do not deserve even one km of land to run independently.

This vanadlism is human disgrace!
