Keep fighting for your faith, Serbs! You will get the respect of the world. I can tell you the reaction of ordinary Americans at the burning of the us embassy. It was nothing! Most Americans are sick and tired of their government's foreign adventures and don't care what happens to government officials overseas. The undersecretary for europe, fried, was interviewed by C-SPAN the day after the embassy incident. After he repeated the party line, they took some phone calls from ordinary Americans. Several of the callers were rude to him. One caller asked what would the government do if illegal Mexican immigrants took over Texas and declared independence. Another complained why was the state department spending hundreds of millions overseas when many Americans need assistance now. They had to stop taking calls. The transcript is on the us state department website. It was posted in the europe section five days after the interview since it was so embarrassing. Keep up the fight; the us government is disconnected from the American people.

Well said Kostunica. On the ball once again.

Diplomacy is fine for now but soon the battle will be right against might!

The world is on our side!

Steering Group is from the Ahtrisaari Plan. It suppose to help Kosovo government implement Ahtisaari Plan as part of "supervised independence". Plan was, however rejected by the UN, and Serbia, too.
It's interesting to notice that there is a place for Russia in the Steering Group according to Ahtisaari Plan, while now Russia is not in the Steering Group.
Irony is that they starting implementation of one illegal and rejected plan, by violating even the plan that they suppose to implement.

From now on speeches could start like this:

"We, the people of the United States and European Union, by the powers we have invented..."

Or maybe,

"...by the powers we have vested and bestowed unto ourselves..."

What an ugly mess.

Mr. Feith and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon have a difference of opinion.

Mr. Feith said in a recent interview,…
“-obviously Kosovo has been too long under UN rule.
-A mentality of dependency: The administrators from outside will have to solve it for us.
-I have executive powers. I can annul legislation, fire corrupt officials, cancel government decisions.”

NATO, UNMIK, EULEX and Mr. Feith and now an Administrative Board giving Hashim “Snake” Thaci orders.
Add the US to this mix playing all of them like a fiddle.

It is like a bad comedy.

What an ugly mess.

Kostunica is definitely enjoying his last month in the office. Here we go again, another statement that contains words condemning, illegal, Kosovo is Serbia etc.
I think that his is after the record that Milosevic hold with these kind rhetoric.
God help Serbia with him in front.
