Does Pete really think Russia would sit idely while he attempts to discredit and ignore Russia's existance in the UN.

Oh dear, another faux pas soundbytre by a EUrocrat. If Feith is to be Kosovo's resident Sipahi he should realize that partition already took place when the US backed a UDI and partitioned Kosovo Province away from Serbia. So if we're going to talk about multi-ethnic cooperation where Serbs and Albanians can come together, sing songs, and bake cookies, that should have been considered in keeping, and integrating, Kosovo into the rest of Serbia. Alas, the time has passed, we've legitimized ethnic separatism, and now the Serbs want the same.
I don't blame them. A Bosnia-like model is pretty much a concession now, rather than a compromise. But hey, what do I know? I just represent the vast majority of people of people against this ill-planned adventure in state building.
Correct me if i am wrong. But is not the reason the Former Republic of Yugoslavia broke up is in the fact that these different ethnicities could not live together. So why are we now looking to integrate a MULTIETHNIC Society on Serbian Territory AGAIN.
Every Ethnic Entity other than the SERBS so far have been allowed to walk away and invent their own Country.

Just a brief note on EU's top diplomat Pieter Feith. In 2004 Solana sent Feith on a mission to Sudan to determine whether or not genocide was taking place in Darfur. Feith reported that, although there was lots of violence in Darfur, one could not call the Darfur massacres genocide. As a result, the EU hardly took any action to stop the Darfur killings (use Google if you do not believe this). Yeah, Pieter Feith really is a top diplomat!
How are they trying to convince UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to transfer authority from UNMIK to EULEX without the approval of Russia. Is it with threats or promise of more recourses of money and making him the last word. Also of his office if he dose the biding of both EU Brussels with Washington's approval. Over the other UN member nations rights if they are the UN will become so fast defunct and irrelevant. It will become another world institution in the pocket of the EU and of the US self serving world homogeneous program of the new world order.
