best would be to get some american lawyers so that serbs end us loosing in court and paying american lawyers -:)

i think serbia should focus on lawsuits that will come its own way for all the damage they have done in kosova, croatia, bosnia and slovenia.

how does one (serbia) destroy, burn, bomb its so called own land (kosova) -- -this just shows you that kosova never was and never will be serbian.

to those that say that 2Million Albanians came to Kosova after WWII wake up and smell the coffee ... Albania never had 6Million people .... there is such document exodus so stop lying to yourselves.

what serbia needs right now are JOBS and FOOD on the table - they dont need KOSOVA.

When Serbia finally pays compensation to Croatia and Bosnia for its failed attempt at territorial expansion then Belgrade can "attempt" to sue the countries that recognise Kosova.

Good luck in trying.

Good, since we cannot follow Americas example and use force to get what we want we will then resort to the law. Might take longer but it's cheaper and more respectable in front of human beings!

I have no doubt in my mind that DS will be on board as well since it was Tadic who first mentioned going to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) should any country illegally recognize Kosovo.

Just to point out, the more Albanians press for Serb to oust Kostunica, the more I know he is doing good for Serbia. ;)

Vote DSS!

Meanwhile more and more prominent countries continue to recognize Kosovo.

Good luck to Serbia in paying it's lawyer expenses, for if you lose in court, those lawyers still want their huge checks.

Because certainly, you can't employ a two-cent lawyer to take on...oh, just the USA and most of EU. No big deal really. :)

If my memory serves me right, I think the government recently mentioned Kosovo assets were worth $250 billion to Serbia. This may be enough to scare some countries away from recognition.

And to those Albanians calling for Kostunica's removal, please keep offering advice so it is clear what NOT to do. It just makes the decision process so much easier.

"Better sue the USA really soon Serbia. On Dutch television it was mentioned that America is heading for a huge economical crisis. This basically has to do with the fact that many Americans are unable to pay their mortgage dues. A few more months and "superpower" USA will be virtually bankrupt (which also means that they cannot send any money to Kosovo). So hurry up Kostunica now that America still has some money left!"

Tom,

Nail on the head. Remember Serbia is the rightful owner to Kosmet as stipulated in UN Resolution 1244, Serbian Constitution, Helsinki Final Act and the Kumanovo Agreement. Serbia in effect holds the title and the deeds to the land and all the resources on the territory of the autonomous province of Kosmet which is a constitutent part of the Republic of Serbia which is asovereign independent state and member of the UN.

If the illegal regime in Pristina and their imperialist masters (US/EU/multinationals)make any moves to expropriate property belonging to the government and people of Serbia, they will be committing an offence called THEFT and are in effect breaking Serbian law. They will then be taken to court in which they will be held accountable.

Now some of the 'Team Kosova' teenies were asking me where can one find these documents that pertain to hold the deeds and title to Kosmet's resources, well boys and girls I can suggest that they take a trip to Belgrade and contact the various government departments (whch are legitimate by the way) and they will gladly supply them with the relevant documents.

I predict difficult times ahead for the Snake Thaci and his NATO/US imperial overlords as the Republic of Serbia takes them to court and receives injunctions preventing Pristina from expropriating them.

And then we wonder why only 19 states out of 203 have recognised 'Kosova' since it declared its illegal UDI last Sunday week.

I think Kostunica is so desperate, so he forgot it that he is a politicia nad a PM.
You guys better get rid of him before he puts you in more trouble.

Miri, Maks, Jetoni,

Give up those happy pills, they're bad for you.

The point here is to pursue every available avenue in international law to prove that the UDI was illegal and that governments recognising it were also acting illegally.

It may not make any material difference but it discredits these countries in the eyes of those who have respect for the rule of law.

The Serbs could well win this case in court, not meaning that the Kosovo declaration will be annulled by an court ruling, but with this court ruling Serbia could sue for damage repair from the USA.

And off course the USA will not pay so Serbia takes this court order to the WTO and they WILL sanction the USA.

An good example was the Exxon company who succesfully sued Venezuala and after that they frozen 12.000.000.000 dollars from venezuela.

This could also happen to Kosovo in the near future leaving shattering theire hopes for an bright future as they probably be paying for the next 100 years.

So let's see how the USA tries to get away with this breach off international law in an court of justice.

P.S. Serb authorities should not make an claim in Dollars as that is worthless in the near future.

What's the point. The U.S. has demonstrated that it disregards international law. The U.S. hasn't been part of the international court system when in the 1980s the itnernational court of justice said the U.S. was guilty of international terrorism for mining ports in leftist leaning South American countries.

It has come to a point where the Serbian government has become a beacon of irony and government comedy... truly amazing. Serbs deserve better than this and Serbs definitely have brighter people than this.

Good luck Kostunica and Co. in your quest to sue 19 countries (and counting).

"Since this, outgoing U.S. administration has recognized the false state of Kosovo, Serbia will soon file a lawsuit against it. The best way forward would be for this outgoing administration to annul this decision, or for the new one to immediately do so," Ristivojević told Beta news agency.
"If the U.S. does not annul this illegal decision, then we will take it to every international court," he explained.

All three US Presidential candidates have strongly criticized the President Bush for his slow move toward Independence of Kosovo. Does the Serbian government really believe that new US administration will annul the decision of President Bush when they wanted this to happen few years earlier? This is another “embargo” for Kosova according to “Action Plan” that Serbian government “accidently” burned in flames at US Embassy.
From now on, those kinds of “declarations” should be labeled:
FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY.
