It is sad to see now that everything is shifting towards a confrontation of the great powers over Kosovo. From all I read around here I have noticed that the alabanian side is showing off with the US, while Serbia with Russia. I think that in the game starting now to develop only the great powers are winning, not Serbia. I do not see a concern for peoples lives and wellbeing in Kosovo or for Serbia-s future, but only pride and interests of the great powers. I think serbians should trust only their own and try to find a way to helpthemselves.

Michael John,

1. Russia itself used to be an occupied country headed by Deputy Secretary of State Mr. Eltsyn (agent FUDDLE) and that's the reason we betrayed the Serbs.

2. Sure you're right !There's only one superpower and it's the US. But every morning there's a man in Kremlin who desides if he wants his friend George and his superpower people to have their breakfasts or it's gonna be their last day in life. So this red button is a good morning shower before the American Breakfast of your Superpower.Don't you find this button makes the world safer ?

When will Miss Rice visit Belgrade to show her friendship to democratic Serbia?

Come to that, does anyone know when she was last there?

She has humiliated Serbia as she intended, and as yet Russia has not reacted. (See Link).

Congratulations Miss Rice.

Only an air-head would say that there is only one supper power in the world!

In fact there are 3 super powers in the world, 1. USA, 2. China, 3. Russia, and within the next 3 to 5 years there will be a fourth super power - India!

Serbia has on its side 2 of the 3 current Super Powers of the world and the support of a soon to be fourth super power!

2 OUT 3 ain't bad!

Muslim Kosovo's future is bleak at best, to date they have the support of 1 super power and 16 American poodle states behind them while Serbia has 2 super powers and the rest of the world behind them. this of course is as of today, we'll see what tomorrow brings!

I would like to keep a perspective on this: The term 'superpower' is only meaningful when that superpower can unilaterally attack a sovereign nation, and take it over.

If the US-Russia conflict should exacerbate, the US couldn't possibly expect to be able to attack Russia and take it over. A war such as that is only done with nukes (in which both sides lose), or a proxy war over Kosovo.

A proxy war can go on as long each side is willing to keep it going, at which point it becomes a war of economic strength, i.e. who can last the longest.

Medvedev tomorrow in Belgrade. Kostunica will tell Serbian people that Medvedev will save Serbia. So tomorrow Belgrade is christening a new Father of Serbia and soon his photo will replace Vladimir Putin’s face at protests in Belgrade attacking western embassies and in Mitrovica trying to attack Albanians. Serbian people should understand that enemies - are with in - and Medvedev after finishing his -business - duties will go back to Russia.

2. There is already a Superpower (only one exists) that small nations can rely on, provide these (not so small) nations do not commit ethnic cleansing against their citizens.
--

Well, too bad that excludes the Albanians. Not only did they ethnically cleans the Serbs out of Kosovo, but also the Gorani, Turks, Roma and everyone else non-Albanian.

Some much for a super power that gets kicked up the backside by the Teleban, Iraqi insurgents and Somalis!

I wonder whether the Serbs will give it one final kick or whether it's been kicked enough!

Medvedev, along with his two lackey subordinates, is on his way to Belgrade to prepare the Serbs for more bad news. It seems that Russia is having second thoughts and is on the verge of recognizing Kosova, not that the Albanians really need the endorsment on a second rate failed superpower. The visit is a very good sign for the Serbs. Medvedev have no problems to be elected. He has only the problem of legitimation of the results of the elections. So he is not interested to tease the West. Still he visits our historical ally and it is a very good sign for the Serbs.

By the way Russia is also interested to show the whole world we able to solve such complicated problems and that we don't care of the press upon our policy. So the Serbs should be more optimistic.

I'm from the Netherlands, and i certainly see the growing resentment for the US of A.

Here in the Netherlands political parties that are no frends of the USA keep growing and as for Germany, 'die links' (the left) partie is growing even much more rapidly and they are no frends off the US either.

This development has started ever since 9/11 and the ever more opressive attitude of the US.

Some folks here give comments to discredit Russia as if we follow our ouwn goals and don't care about the Serbs. I can tell you what the Russian interests are :

1. We are interested to let the peoples around the world know that we no longer betray our allies.

2. We are interested to let the Golden Billion in the US and the EU to know that their time to judge peoples is over. That there's a power small nations can rely on.

3. We are interested to be so strong in every sphere that the US and it's European coward puppets cannot ignore us in world matters.

4. We are interested to become a moral leader of the world outside the Golden Billion.

5. We are going to reveal that DEMOCRACY is just one of the ways of keeping state power in the hands of the same elite. And when it does not work the double stantard instrumentations are switched on.

Such are some of the Russian interests.

The Albanian Kosovars have all the recognition they need from the US, GB, Germany, France, Italy and all the other European nations that really count. I have found no Russia friendly comments to this small piece of news. It's very good cause it means only that we are on the right way. Russia needs just a several day pause to recharge the President. Then I am sure we shall provide the Serbs help.

Everybody knows that Putin cares much of the public opinion in Russia. But the Russians will not forgive a second betrayal of the Serbs. So there is no basis for panic. The battle has just started and nothing is lost yet.

Only the Serb leaders must be as decisive as their people. Then we can find a compromise acceptable both for us and the Albanians.

But if Tadic goes on weakening his position there will be no result. Even if it is so you must never make such stupid confessions. Together we can handle it !

Serbia need and have someone who understand what has been posed on it's soverenity. Why are you guys so much against anything that most Serbs support? Stop this shame that is comming from "Democratic" West. I commend Russia's, Spain's, Slovak's, China's, and hundreds of other countries around the globe that give support for international law and to Serbia these days.

I'm from the Netherlands, and i certainly see the growing resentment for the US of A.

Here in the Netherlands political parties that are no frends of the USA keep growing and as for Germany, 'die links' (the left) partie is growing even much more rapidly and they are no frends off the US either.

This development has started ever since 9/11 and the ever more opressive attitude of the US.

capo di tutti capi - YESSS!!!

Russia has King Kong sized balls, and I like balls. Sorry about the TEAM AMERICA movie line. On a more serious note; what Russia is doing takes lots of fortitude, you are becoming the leader of the new FREE WORLD while the old free world becomes less & less free everyday, unless you consider having the choice of buying 100 varieties of toothpaste freedom.

It is sad to see now that everything is shifting towards a confrontation of the great powers over Kosovo. From all I read around here I have noticed that the alabanian side is showing off with the US, while Serbia with Russia. I think that in the game starting now to develop only the great powers are winning, not Serbia. I do not see a concern for peoples lives and wellbeing in Kosovo or for Serbia-s future, but only pride and interests of the great powers. I think serbians should trust only their own and try to find a way to helpthemselves.
