In the final analysis, this may yet lead to another war in Bosnia. Given the way the Serbs have behaved since 1995 (lack of acknowledgement of their crimes, lack of remorse, refusing to give up war criminals), I'm not sure if there is any other way out. Given that reason cannot find a foothold in Serbian politics, way may be the only way they come to their senses. It's truly tragic that after all this time, few Serbs recognize why they are so shunned by the world.

Lajcak lets the Tihic,s, Silajdzics of the so called Federation block any reform even Police reform without admonishment. It is about time that this Nato stooge admitted he is the puppet of the US Ambassador.Yugoslavia was multi -ethnic but destroyed by the EU political elite. Bosnia is not multi-ethnic and its time to admit that this protectorate is doomed.

The difference between the RS and Kosovo is that the international community will never reward genocide, and that is just how the RS was formed, as even the ICJ recently conceded.

Beyond the Kosovo issue, why does no one ever complain that Kostunica forced Montenegro out of Serbia. (Every poll showed Montenego was planning to vote to stay in the State Union, which only changed after he refused to give up Mladic and the SAA was placed on indefinate hold.) Some day Serbians will have to decide what they love more: Serbia or a bunch of war criminals, who cost them Kosovo, Montenegro, and the world's respect.

And according to resolution 1244, Kosovo is legally a part of Serbia but that was somehow put aside and a new state created.

I would think that resulution 1244 is just as binding legally as any agreement on RS so if 1244 can be bypassed why not an agreement for RS?

I love the double standards here. We must uphold the law when it comes to Bosnia, but any law that protects Serbian integrity and territory is not even worth talking about.

Hasn't Lajčak heard? Internationally recognized states with sovereignty and territorial integrity was yesterday's laws! He needs to talk to his friends in the US and UK to catch up with the latest!

Like I said, this is a win/win situation for the Serbs. Our people will soon be re-united without any of these artificial borders separating us!

Lajcak has nothing to fear. Ther is no Serb troops in Bosnia’s RS, and he got the Bonn powers, so… if the RS leadership misbehaves, he can use his power to do what is needed to preservthe order.
