If the Russians are really serious about following through with this, Serbia will recover Kosovo. The only protection the K albs have are the remaining Serbs in the south. If a repeat of 2004 occurs, how badly do the Americans and EU want face Russia on the Kosovo battlefield? Thaci must enter into negotiations.

Militay force need not be applied but the Russians and Chinese could easily over come the EU INLEX (Lawless) mission on the same grounds and one could in that respect send and 'international' mission who do uphold International laws to maintain Serbia's sovereignty.

So, Kosovo indeoendence is the least dangerous solution according to Bush and the UK. So far after a few days we have had attacks on foreign embassys, protests with attacks on Nato police, 2 checkpoints burned, a protestor killed and 150 injured, multiple bomb threats in norhtern Kosovo, and now a possible military confrontation from Russia..what on earth could possibly be more dangerous than what is happening now? This is only a few days after independence, think about the next few weeks and months.
