1) Kosovo won't get into the UN.
2) Kosovo won't get into the EU.
3) Kosovo will be partitioned.
4) Last year, America gave Kosovo $77 million. This year, America will host a doner's conference and cough up $350 million. Another $300 million will come from other sources. Next year, America will give Kosovo $50 million. After next year, Kosovo will be lucky to get $5 million per year. Why? Croatia is negotiating with the EU, Macedonia will start accession negotiations. Montenegro,Albania, Kosovo and Bosnia will also join the EU in the future. Therefore, my message for the people of Serbia is: concentrate on meeting the conditions for joining the EU. Forget about Kosovo!

For this unhappy outcome of the Kosovo crisis, my heart goes with both Serbs and Albanians. Serbs, because their are the, now, victims. With Albanians, because despite their happiness now, there is a saying they should pay attention to, as any inhabitant of Balkans and the World, generally:

Romania is in a very difficult position, on one hand Serbia is a good neighbor of Romania with whom Romania has a lot of trade relations and brotherly Moldova which Romania is trying hard to help and protect against Russia in order not to create a "precedent", on the other hand is EU which Romania is trying to further integrate into EU, but in the long run, Kosovo's independence is the only right way, and I am sure Romania will also recognize Kosovo some day.
Kosovo could not go being in limbo forever getting fed by the EU taxpayers' money. Now that they will have independence the Kosovars should learn feeding themselves.
It's an EU investment that in the long run will bring savings and most important stability.
Not a very original way to secure an alibi for what is about to happen in Belgrade later today: Mr. Tadic did his best to organize the rally which so strikingly resembles the Milosevic iconography (and technology) and then realized what it is turning out to be.

Russia is an allied of China because China is becoming an economic power :)
It is all about economics, that is why Kosovo will not be independent because Europeans don't want to spend their money feeding some albanians gangsters in Kosovo.
That is why I am saying that : Kosovo is Serbia not because I say so but because it is :)
Its interesting to watch world politics and understand their rational, in their haste to show cooperation in the international arena they easily ignore the hard questions and ongiong problems in the middle east that have been simmering for the last 100 years,and look at quick easy fix solutions and give them selves a pat on the back and a hand shake and say havent we done a fantastic job,and forget about the consequences that they have created.Current situation in relation to Kosovo is a prime example and reeks of New World Order situation, have we goverments that can still maintain some form of stately independance and not follow the rat race, other wise we will lose our own identities.The international community has a responsabilty to adhere to its UN charter, failure to do so will eventually make the UN a lame duck and will ultimatley lead to the breakdown of the EU / NATO as nations revert to their own rule of international law.Please look at the over all broad picture, in summary the international community has made a grave mistake in allowing the province of Kosovo to become independent just like they did when the State of Israel was proclaimed in 1948 have things changed since then i think not they have in fact created a cancer that will keep spreading and cause more pain and grief. Welcome to the free world ??????.
American politicians say that Serbia does not have the moral authority to rule Kosovo. You can easily recognize propaganda when they start spewing "moral authority" What was America's moral authority when it fought a war in Vietnam and killed 2 - 5 million civilians? What is America's moral authority to rule Iraq today? Go shove your propaganda up yourself. Let me tell the albanians who write here what will happen to Kosovo:
1) Kosovo won't get into the UN.
2) Kosovo won't get into the EU.
3) Kosovo will be partitioned.
4) Last year, America gave Kosovo $77 million. This year, America will host a doner's conference and cough up $350 million. Another $300 million will come from other sources. Next year, America will give Kosovo $50 million. After next year, Kosovo will be lucky to get $5 million per year. Why? Because history repeats itself: the same thing happened to Afghanistan after the Soviet withdrawal. Economic desperation drove the Afghans into the hands of the Taliban; the same will happen to the K-albos. And, someday in the future, President Chelsea Clinton will have to send US troops into Kosovo to oust your islamist regime.
