Jeremic should feel the shame of what Serbia did to all of its neighbours during the 90s. The quicker Serbs wake up to reality and accept the crimes they perpetrated, the quicker they will realise why Kosovo deserved its freedom along with everyone else that left Serb dominated Yugoslavia. Its sad to see a so-called "moderate" Serbian politicians being so deluded ...

Many Serbs feel ashamed for what was done in the Balkans in the 90s.
Many Albanians do not feel ashamed of their new country, of the thousands their "heroes" killed, of the thousands they exppelled, of the churches they burnt, of the fact that "Albanian" question is still a question in every country they live in.
Giving criticism is easy, taking it is obviously not. If the reader READ Jeremic's speech, there's a lot of self-criticism.

I believe you are missing many important points in your comment:

What has happened in Balkans in last 20 years is a tragedy and Serbian government of the day had a sad role in it. However it was the government of Mr Milosevic that neither Mr Jeremic or many other Serbs like myself had nothing to do with. We fought very hard to overthrow him and let me tell you it was not easy at all. In fact it was so hard that hundreds of thousands of young Serbs left the country as a result of his rule along with other refugees from the region (which is not much publicized fact). Throughout his rule Mr Milosevic had permanent and very strong opposition which gave its contribution that he doesn't escalate Balkan conflicts even further.
When he was overthrown, it was not by US or EU, it was by the very Serbian people.
These people have nothing to be ashamed of. Bad things were done on their behalf and they disposed of Mr Milosevic peacefully. What Mr Jeremic is saying is that these people cannot escape the feeling they are harshly punished by a solution to Kosovo problem that does not take into account a single shred of Serbian dignity. Solution is illegal too but that is beside the point since law does not count for much in international relationships. The point is if you want to stabilize Balkan you have to stabilize Serbia and you cannot do that by a solution that inflicts humiliation to whole nation and marginalizes pro-European part of Serbia's political spectrum. I am pretty sure that Kosovo negotiations could have been carried in a way and deliver result both acceptable to Albanians but also not threaten positive political developments in Serbia, only if US and EU have not been hellbent on granting independence to Kosovo from the outset (or at least not making it so obvious).
I also fail to see how making Serbia a biggest loser in post cold-war Europe improves regions' and indeed Europe's stability.

My guess is that is the part that leaves bitter taste in Mr Jeremic mouth and frankly so does in mine.

Sincerely

Mr. Jeremic, you should feel ashamed only for what your country has done to balkans in the past two decades. Only when you feel this shame you will see the truth.
