"what province are you talking about? If you meant Republic of Kosova, which I think everyone should get used to it by now.
(Ahmet Isufi, 20 February 2008 12:39) "

Well Ahmet Isufi, it is Serbia's province of Kosovo as envisaged by the still valid 1244. Okay, if you like, we can also talk about the Republic of Kosova south of the Ibar that has as good a chance of entering the UN as Taiwan or Northern Cyprus.

The only way EU institutions can work in "all of Kosovo" is if the EU recognizes dual governments in Kosovo - one for Albanians and one for Serbs. Until then, Serbs will continue to legitimately protest and riot, and Kosovo's north will be the lynchpin of instability everyone has predicting it would be for months. Cut your losses, politically divide the region, make a deal with Belgrade and Russia, and move on. I means seriously, does Thaci really want this headache? And if Albanians have been saying "we don't want to be ruled by Serbs", what gives them any right to rule over Serbs?

The degree of arrogance with which Solana and the EU Imperialists have shown towards Serbia and the wishes of the Serbian people is both staggering and humiliating.
And very hard to stomach.

There is absolutely no hope of EU forces entering parts of the Serbian province loyal to Belgrade unless they want to provoke tension and violence.

Mr Solana, I would not be that sure that you are going to have any success in implementation of the EULEX mission establishment in North. As far as I am concerned North is definitely part of Serbia and Serbia is sovereign country that does not need any foreign supervision missions such EULEX. This lex is pure irony for those who breach the law.
