Kosovo Albanians celebrate, Serbs prepare protests

Only to bad for Kosovo that Spain (and 5 other EU members) are never going to recognize Kosovo therefor making it impossible for Kosovo to join Europe (EVER).

Furthermore will Russia block any attempt to join the UN making Kosovo defacto an phoney state as it will not be able to join any international organisation.

And for the remark about issuing an arrest warrent for the kosvaren leaders, this is an legally rightfully course that Serbia has taken.

What planet do you live on? Albanians are peaceful and talk about the people living in Kosovo? Do you mean the ones that have barbed wire around their villages and the ones that have their churches burnt down? The ones that your people chased out of Kosovo as recently as 2004?

Remember, Serbia tried to preserve Yugoslavia. When this was a lost cause, Serbia tried to negotiate a peaceful break-up. Then premature recognition forced an imposed settlement (by the West once again) and the Serbians went to war to protect themselves. The other republics didn't leave Serbia but Yugoslavia. It was the Yugoslav army in Slovenia while the president was Croatian at that time. You seem a little confused!

Now you are asking us to live in peace? Yes, we will live in peace in our areas in our Serbia, including the Serbian province of Kosovo. My concern is that Albanians are the ones who will have a problem with that peace, not us. So lets wait and see!

From the august of last year I have been everyday reader of B92, but i was out of comments because of one promise i gave to some posters here that I will wait until the Independence Day. Finally the day has come and now I will make a summary of all I wanted to say during this period.
We (albanians) are peaceful people and we are taking what is ours and not what is serbian. In the 21-st century we (albanians) speak about the people who inhabits the land you (serbs) and your government speaks about territory. We offer our hand to be good neighbors, your governments denounce and wants to put in the jail our president our prime and our assembly speaker. It is a big difference between us. Please do you ask yourself why nobody wants to live with Serbia? First Slovenia is to secede, then Kroatia, Mascedonia, Bosna, even Monte Negro who share same religion same language with Serbs decided to live separated from Serbia. Now Kosova is just a continuation of a normal process.
Princip, Kate, bromusila, etc, be fer and congratulate me for our new state. Let it be a good start of being as neighbors.

The Proclamation of an Indipendent Kosovo by the Albanians has been ruled null and void by serbia,this proclamation supported by the U.S.A. his going to cost many lives on both sides in the years to come, hope the U.S.A. has plans to be on the Kosovo soil in the years coming, because pandoras box has been opened, peace in my country is a word of the past, god bless the serbs and albanian people that will suffer simply because some politicians ego to creat a new state on a country.

kosovo is finally returned to the natives, the albanians. you can claim all you want, kosovo will be a member of the EU, that's not the issue here, with enough pressure even the Cypriots will recognize it.
kosovo is already recognized by the greatest nation on the face of this world, the U.S.A.

Those accusations would have been taken seriously if they didn’t come from somebody whose nation is responsible for the graves massacres since WW2.
The time when Serbia can preach about humanity?
Well, not for a long time.

good thing in here is casue we say what we have to say and in the end we go have meal and go to bed .I wonder if any of you havce been in to that war many of you think the k alabanians are whatever you name it but i would ask you search on the net ito non serbian site and see for yourself how peacfull and how did serbian police and military protected k-albanians as u gov. so called them their citizen of serbia once u do that then make a coment... cheers
