People in the civilised world would take such protests over "illegality" more seriously if the Serbian government had complied with international law and arrested Ratko Mladic. In addition, such diplomatic posturing does not sit very well when the murders of 100s of Kosovo Albanians, the bodies of which were discovered at the "anti-terrorist" police training base outside Belgrade in 2001, remain unsolved.

Stuart, please spare us the this disgusting propaganda. The current Serbian government bears no resemblance or has no links with what happened during the previous Yugoslav Milosevic or Tito regimes. The current government in Belgrade was democratically elected according to Western standards and is pro Western in outlook, yet you still feel the need to demonise a whole people. Its a bit like as I said here yesterday blaming the current German for the crimes committed by the Nazis or the French for crimes committed in its name in Algeria or Vietnam.
When will you ever cease with your argument that lost any logical meaning to it. The Serbian government is doing its damn best in preventing the further partition and destruction of its country.
Today is a sad day for international law. We have just created the first mafia state in Europe that is economically and politically unviable and will serve as a source of further political instability in the years ahead
