Johny,
First we are glad you are not a Serb!

Second you contradict yourself by backing a regime that has no tolerance for other cultures or diversity! Albania and Kosovo will be 95% ethnic Albanian. We will see the extent of Albanian tolerance and diversity as you will be in charge of safe guarding ancient slavic sites and minorities. Currently the Albanian track record is poor.

In closing, ask your immediate neighbors, Greeks, Macedonians, and Montenegrins, who they would rather live with, Serbians or Albanians, most people will say Serbians because we live in harmony with those that do not wish to steal our homes, rape our women, and deny us our faith. You now also have your big chance to prove to the world how civilized you are by expelling the drug lords, murderers, and pimps that run your society.

"Turkish officials dispel these fears by saying that the Kosovo case does not compare to either of these two regions, but at the same time say that it carries a lot of similarities with another—namely, Northern Cyprus."

hahahahaha! yes, greek cyprus was violently taken over by the turks as was serbian kosovo by their albanian counterparts... i can see the similarities...

what i can't believe is the double standards being applied here... what makes kosovo so special? wait! i know what. imperialists need that little piece of land to send their oil thru into europe...

I know about this saying, but I don't see how it fits to the topic.
You'd better find a better answer to my previous comment.

Let me tell you a good one, absolutely related to the "independence" of Kosovo: "The liar and the thief are happy only the first year"...

Smile if I were a Serb I would express your thoughts in a different way. From your message Serbs come across some kind of fundamentalist sect.

P.S Embrace diversity, it is beautiful. God didn't make as Christians,Jews and Muslim. It made us all humans. If you are able to comprehend the last sentence without any prejudice then you'll know what I am talking about.

It seems Turkey is the first in kissing up to the EU and their decisions, this is one of the things they think will help speed up their EU ascension and membership.

First these people need to learn the concepts of democracy, treatment of minorities, recognition of illegal states (Northern Cyprus), religious freedom and recognition of genocide.

'Once Turkey was our enemy, for five long centuries, today it is one of our best friends. I believe that it would not take five centuries (maybe not even five years) to make Serbia and Kosova big allies and friendly states.'

:)
positive thoughts.
but no.
we'd have to covert to islam first, like albanians did. that's what makes you and turks good friends today, you have a spiritual bond.
maybe the turks got the hint from the five centuries they tried... but i'll say it again, we don't convert to islam ;)
we are a very stubborn, very christian orthodox, bunch.
i'll leave you with that thought :)

We have a saying in Greece that goes something like this: "The gypsy saw his stock and his heart was delighted"

I think that it fits perfectly in the case of Turks and Kosovo's Albanians.
Of course, I mean the direct recognition of Kosovo by the turks and not something else...LOL

Serbia will be first to recognise independent Kurdistan within 48 hours of the request for independence. Is anyone going to speak about human right abuse of the Kurdis people in the hands of Turky? Where are NGO to support Kurdish people?
