personally, i believe the opposite, but that is just my opinion.
in the context of this article, only thing of relevance is what russia actually does..
but in interim, keep proding the russian bear by all means :)

I don't want to talk about a possible Russian humiliation but I think we are heading that way.....

This is right.
It should be said that this is not an East vs West matter. It is an important issue about the nature of international stablility and international law.
I do wish the EU would change their policy and acknowledge the major faults in the notion of an independent Kosovo. There were good solutions available. I have had a belief that the EU diplomats are capable of better things than supporting the Albanian mono-ethnic ambitions.
The US may not be capable of a rethink - but it would be good if they would try.
The press may well choose to label the Kosovo issue as a power-play between East and West, however, they should not do that.

United States, Britain, Germany and other countries who supported Kosovo Albanian terrorists can defuse the crisis easily by providing asylum to
20 000 terrorists. Normal Albaninas could then continue with their lives and EU can concentrate on bringing Serbia with Kosovo province in it's fold.
With terrorists in power, the sole purpose of Kosovo is to act as a fuse of a wider conflict.
