Croatian show documents Đinđić murder

Croatian TV’s Latinica program focussed last night on the murder of the late Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić.

I never heard about Americans being forced to exile, except of they evade arrest for criminal acts.
(e.g. draft dodgers living in Canada). I also never
thought of Serbia or Croatia as American "Siberia".

Since Mr. Montgomery is a regular B92 blogger, it would be interesting to hear if what Mr. Popovic has said is true:

"“I agree, his role is still not in the open, but for one reason – he still lives here, and in both Croatia and Serbia he represents a kind of authority, even if he is the only ambassador who was not allowed to return to his country after the end of his mandate and is the only ambassador to stay in the country where he worked, who goes against all diplomatic rules, and who is the only American ambassador that does not get invited to the Independence Day reception at the embassy,”
