Does anyone have any idea as to what's in this Action Plan? It should include:

1. A legal case taken to the International Court of Justice against any country which recognoses a UDI, as proposed by Thomas Fleiner.
2. The immediate establishment of a Kosovo Serb Assembly and parallel institutions with total support and assistance from Belgrade.
3. A demand to UNMIK for the immediate arrest of Thaci and the Kosovo cabinet for sedition.
4. Serb Special Forces on standby to move into Serb areas of Kosovo at short notice if Serb civilians are threatened and KFOR fail in their duty.

I could go on. What do other people think?
(Tom O'Donoghue, 11 February 2008 19:26)

If it is the real “Action Plan” then I will call it “A ridiculous Plan”
1. A legal case … for any country which recognizes a Kosovo’s Independence. – If this would be possible then Putin would be rich without stealing the Oil Company from the opposition businessman. 
2. The immediate establishments … of parallel institutions from Kosovo’s parallel institutions - each are parallel to Serbian institution. Isn’t this ridiculous? 
3. A demand to UNMIK for the immediate arrest of Thaci … - like UNMIK is somewhere in March and not in Kosovo. 
4. Serb Special Forces on standby to move into Serb areas of Kosovo…. – Weren’t those ready already? 

Tom,

"Does anyone have any idea as to what's in this Action Plan?…"

I completely agree with your suggestions. Serbia also should quickly build up its air - defense capabilities. We need to buy plenty of S-300 en S-400's. I think Russia would sell them to us at the discount. Maybe we could also make some other arrangements. Invite couple of units of Russian air force for prolonged friendly visit to Batajnica? Nothing special, say, 50-60 Su-27's with a Russian pilots?

Good post Tom. This is what I have been saying for the past year. The ultimate outcome will see 2 parallel quasi-states operating within kosovo. Serbs will secure all of kosovo's borders (1244) and should violence occur, all of the settlements as well, while granting the albanians the right to govern themselves. This will be the defacto reality. Serbs are not going anywhere as they have the full support of all governing Serbian parties, and the majority of the Serb populice, and significant support from the Serbian diaspora.

Sadly though, a state of emergency will occur once violence is increased to a higher level in kosovo but this will serve to prompt the return of Serbian security forces into the internationally recognized province of kosovo.

What I fear the most is how many thousands more Serbs will be threatened, killed and expelled at gun-point, and how many more cultural sites will be destroyed and re-christened as belonging to albania? The world has evidenced these crimes perpetrated against Serbs for the last 7 years.

In recent years the political tide has really turned in Serbia's favour, albeit at the cost of the suffering Serb brethren in Kosovo.

In the end justice and truth will prevail!

The Action plan should include:

An appology to the Albanins for 1998-99.

Pay damaged homes.

Garantee the same right to the Valley Albains as Kosva Serbs are being given.
and so on

In my wiew that is the best action plan that Serbia should bring forward.

Kosova is not going to declare anything Illegal. If it’s going to be legal or illegal we’ll see but I recon it is going to be perfectly legal. Mind you that is my point of view. For Serbia Croatia was illegal, Slovenia was illegal same as Bosnia but noe they are legal. It would change nothing if Kosova was illegal for now for Serbia, latter it will be legal.
As I said. Big brother decides hare, so we can only exchange our views.
Anyhow, Serbs are not interested about Kosova, it's their fifth priority, this is what counts not what a tiny monority of Milosevic supporters

Tom,

You are a genius. Your plan looks very impressive. You just have to make it a little bit more scary to the US and some big EU countries. Maybe the possible involvement of the Irish Army on Serbia's side s/b included.

For goodness sake Olf - Kosovo is a province which intends to illegally declare an independence which will never enable them to enter the UN or other bodies, and they are completely at the whim of other nations. And you call Serbia and other established nations 'Micky Mouse' countries?!

Kosovo is still a province within that 'Micky Mouse' country don't forget.

Are they asking to go against the will of more than 2mil. People?
Would this be fair and does the government have the legitimacy to go against the majority of population?

I though that Milosevic has gone but it looks like there are few more left.
We all know what happened to Milosevic and his supporters that what is waiting them and their supporters but this time with a little change for worst, they will be accused from Serbs.

Bmrusila,

You have to be wise enough o understand that no country in Europe is without supervision, some more some less. Level of supervision depends on the strength and position of that country. At the moment, Romania, Cyprus, Serbia and many Mickey mouse countries have high level of supervision by big brother.

Bmrusila, you are forgeting that it is Serbia that needs EU, and not the other way around.

However, if you are happy to stay isolated from EU, especially when all of Serbia neighbours will soon join the EU, and if you are happy to have to apply for a visa even for going to Montenegro, than do so, ignore EU offers.

Whatever floats you boat.

bmrusila

Yes, it is true that these two things are not maybe directly linked because there is no direct condition imposed in that EU’s carrot to choose between the mission or signing the deal, but the one must be really blind not to see the obvious fact that the EU is trying to buy us as cheap as possible. We must be firm and politely say them to get lost with thier carrot and when they learn to respect the others we may continue talks and by then they can negotiate with K-Albanians and sign these kinds of deals with them. Do we need to be part of the EU and humiliated on every important occasion? It is enough to see what are they doing now with Romania and Cyprus to avoid their right of veto on illegal EU mission for Kosovo, and makes you vomit.
