Tadić: Serbia to immediately annul Kosovo's declaration

Serbia will win any lawsuit it files against a country that recognizes and trades with Kosovo.

The International World court has no choice but to award Serbia these judgements because of resolution 1244 and because the recognition was not sponsored by the UN and UNSC. This will prove to be very costly and not very encouraging to smaller countries and even some larger one's too,... And will result in many countries not recognizing Kosovo and shying away from any type of trade unless its Charity!

All it takes is for one country to get sued and LOSE BIG TIME and then most of the other one's will have nothing to do with Kosovo there after.

Something tells me that the first country to be sued and LOSE will either be the Germans or the UK. Both will threaten to cut off economic ties with Serbia should the Serbs pursue the lawsuit but I think they will be surprised to find out that the Serbs will not be intimidated by the loss of economic trade with either country because Serbia's survival does not solely depend on either country, after all there are 192 LEGAL countries in the world to trade with. The Americans do not have enough money to buy favours from all those countries and/or bully all of them!

Right so Mr Tadic, and I really appreciate every word you said. Just stay firm in decisions and make all necessary moves to annul the new European freaking creation where the residents of that freaking creation keep minorities behind barbed wires and where not a one standard of functional society is met.

In addition, I give my support to sue them all, but please do revive the indictment against NATO countries that illegally took bombardment actions against Serbia during 1999.

Canadian - You may be right re. the legal actions against countries. It could be a way to get some of those promised reparations which never arrived.

I am with bmrusila that the indictment against NATO countries for their illegal actions against Serbia in 1999 should be revived in some way. That was a sham and in the context of today it would be very relevant.

Move to Kosovo, Now!

While correct in principle, suing countries that recognize Kosovo will have little practical impact on its own because the court takes years to issue a ruling. The legal action requires some form of immediate practical application to constitute a serious tactic. It is high time that the President, Prime Minister and other top officials of Serbia take up residence in the Serbian province of Kosovo. Registering themselves as permanent residents in the province is the highest profile nonviolent means to simultaneously assert Serbia's legal claim and dissuade all other Serbs from fleeing Kosovo in the belief that they are being betrayed. A brave general leads the battle from the front line -- Serbia needs brave leaders today who are ready to risk their lives for their nation and to truly reflect the ideals of the Serbian national anthem which fittingly appeals to the "God of Justice" for protection.

I agree with the comment that the politicians should take up residence in Kosovo. They should do so now!

So should any other Serb who wishes to maintain a hold on the territory.

The more that are there, the stronger the case.

I can think of no stronger way of making the point that Kosovo is Serbia than to move the whole government and the parliament there immediately!

It is very strange. So Tadic admits that Kosova will declare the Independence and that the only thing that Serbia can do is sue the countries that recognise the Independence or break ties with these countries. That is fine but who is going to do this, Serb Parliament is not going to meet nor is the government. Serbia at the moment has no government, parliament no ministers. Serbia at the moment has political leaders that oppose the Independence and we are all aware of the power of the opposition form the political leaders, not to mention that even if Serbia has its gov. and Parliament properly functioning their decisions would be next to nil.
I can remember the same saying when Serbia sued the NATO but with no success.

In the end I would like to say that for sake of deceiving further Serbian public” I totally agree with Tadic’s plan and that Serbia will win the battle at the court”.

Although completely useless, would be very interesting to see what answer would be coming from Serbia if one would put a proposal like that to Kostunica and/or Tadic. Perhaps that would be the step that would break the camel's back. They are willing to protect Kosova, and sacrifice the future of Serbia by refusing EU agreement, but not this far!! Notwhen it comes to their personal comfort. Make them live in a one bedroom appartment in Mitrovica waiting for their government welfare paycheck and they perhaps have second thoughts.
