this is the 3rd time i've attempted to post my reply so let's see if the 3rd time is actually the charm.

Metro,
You bring up an interesting topic when you mention democracy.
To some of you Serbia may appear to be a “democratic society,” but to most non Serbians it comes across as something very unlike a democracy. Lets look back to the 90’s because ALL of the history books in the world will show readers that you are a society that supported wars of nationalism that are responsible for heinous atrocities.
We need to be very concise about this because if the Serbian authorities had not had their hands soaked in Albanian blood in Kosove, prompting NATO to act in defense of civilians, in a way they failed to do in Bosnia, we wouldn’t be on the verge of chopping off another piece of the former Yugoslavia. Do you honestly feel that NATO and the EU have nothing better to do than police the Balkans, while hundreds of thousands of refugees flood different parts of Europe? Familiar with “you reap what you sow?” I can’t think of a more fitting example for Belgrade.

EA,

What good does declaring indepandance do if you will never be legally recognized by the UN?

Sure you can declare independence but you will see the eventual return of Serb police and Military units to guard ALL serbian settlements within kosovo and the borders as per 1244. You can keep your offer of protection for Serbs and token flags for people who are naive. The truth is that Serbs are fully self sufficient from any offers that would entice them to treason. You will have to offer a lot more than that lol.

Mark MY words EA, an armed Serbian presence in kosovo is the eventual outcome. Ultimately there will be 2 parallel quasi states functioning within one state, with Serbs controlling ALL of their settlements. Serbia will retain UN recognized sovereignty over the entire land! You mark MY words, my adventuresome separatist, which in most cases happen to conform to proper english grammar and spelling !!

But I feel sorry for the Albanian people who are being deceived by political opportunists, who are sending them into the political and economic netherworld.

So, what happened with December 10th?

Albanians sound something like this -

''We're gonna declare independence. We're gonna do it. We're half way there. Our one foot is out of the door. We're about to step outside. We're gonna declare independence. The independence is about to be declared...'' etc...

If Kosovo is yours, why are you forcefully trying to take it from Serbia?
Why do you even need to declare independence...if its yours.

Kosova will be fully independent from Serbian in other words a Sovereign country. It will be a country of all its citizens living in that territory recognised by the international community excluding Russia, Serbia, Cyprus and Bangladesh forgive me if I forget an odd country.
The rights of Serbian minority in Kosova will be fully respected as envisaged by Ahtisari Plan. If Serbia decides to remain a democratic country and join EU, the same rights will be granted to the Albanian minority in Presova, Bujanovca and Medvedja. Kosova will join the European Union and believe that Serbia would make the right choice to join the club of the free nations. Serbian national flag will be flying whereever the Serbs live alongside the state flag of the country where they live as well the Albanian flag in Preseva, Bujanovc and Medvedja will fly alongside the Serbian flag.

In the Uk, as far as i know, the government administration has been taking advice from astrologers since Medieval Times, they jsut don't say it openly to the public. Gordon Brown has his own team of astrologers. Pluto entered in Capricorn on January 24th, supporting earth signs like Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo. Why am I saying this? Because Tadic is Capricorn. The elctions were held in early Feb, the only time for this year when Jupiter the planet of good luck and Venus the planet of good luck, love, creativity came the closest to each other. Those planets are also very beneficial to Capricorns. Feb 17 is a good date becaue it is close to an eclipse and it actually better to take decisions 3 days around it! It will fall in Virgo another fellow earth sign of Tadic, so hopefully he won't lose his government due to this eclipse. This eclipse is a full moon, so it will bring an ending. This lunar eclipse is double the strength of any regular full moon. Eclipses in this specific house have been falling for 2 years now since March 14th 2006 bringing changes for people. (Think back to 2007: March 3 and 19, August 28, and September 11. In 2006: Think back to March 14, and September 7 and 22.)
This will be the last one and Saturn has entered in this house since last September, which makes this a strong one. Saturn's job is to teach us to be very realistic. Whatever we decide will be a choice we will live with a very long time. Something is about to end. Know that it will be very hard to negotiate a road back during eclipse time, as they have a finality that is hard to change. Saturn in the planet of hardships but the universe does this so that we make changes and adjustements that are wasting our time. Eclipses are testing points - they do not predetermine what we will choose to do. The universe simply wants to see us use our time well as i said, and not waste it with people who don't love/treat/respect us in the way we deserve.
On February 24, we might has developments as well, the Sun will oppose Saturn. This is certainly not a cheery aspect. It is more like the meeting of fire and ice.If a sort of break up occurrs in this aspect, it could cause people to have to move(God forbid it doesn't happen in Kosovo!), as the Sun rules the home and an opposition is a "tearing way" aspect.
Even December 10 was a very auspicious date of a configuration that happens once in 13 years and brings it full results e few months later in a peaceful way.Bill Gates was born on this aspect, fortunately for him.
The situation will be very tense up to March 6, when things get better in the cosmos and also money could pour in, (hopefully so for Serbia!). By April 17th, things will be in a much better position, and Mid-year is predicted by all astrologers to be the best time of the year in every aspect!(Think Eurovision anyone?) By September, the world finacial crises will be better as well.
As for this week though, Mars(male/war) and Venus(female/love/prosperity/creativity) will be on the opposite, so people will be arguing and contradicting each other. Hope it doesn't affect your valentines ;)

Samardzic and other Serb politicians keep on saying that Serbia is loosing 15 percent of its territory. This is a myth which is going on unchecked.

Serbia's territory, including Kosovo is 88361 sq km. Kosovo is 10887 sqkm = 12.3 percent. If you want to round up the number it out be close to ten percent. Still too much, I hear the Serbian side shouting. May be, but its not 15 percent of your territory.

The Russian ownership in the Serbian economy is far lower than that of the U.S.-EU alliance. An expansion of Russian investment will bring at least a semblance of balance to the situation. For the agents of the West, any competitive Russian involvement is always a crisis because it threatens to bring a real competitor into a scenario that Western companies would prefer to share only among themselves as they divide up any profits between their cartels and export the money from Serbia. By its mere presence, Russia is, to the contrary, bringing energy security as well as tangible support for its effort to help Serbia defend its sovereignty. Keeping Kosovo within Serbia is in the direct interests of both Serbia AND Russia, making it an ideal cooperative project. As for Kosovo "independence day," can anyone remember the date (in 1990) on which they last declared independence? No, I did not think so. It should go exactly the same way this time around.

My sources suggest that the Kosovo Albanians will truly declare independence by the end of the month.

The only chance of their holding off from this would be a clear message from the US. The only chance that message will come is if Serbia holds a general election. In that case the only promise the US is willing to consider is to hold off recognising Kosovo until the election is over - and even then it is not guaranteed.

Kostunica has heard about this and it is another reason why he is playing hardball with Tadic. If the election is only about Kosovo SRS will win and DS hasnt much chance.

We are entering the final stage and nobody really knows whats going to happen.

Wake up B92,
I comented on one of the articles today and i also gave you the date when Independence will be declared, Yet you edited my coment about the date. Shame on you. It seems that whenever I gave you facts or I was ahead of you on information you failed to post my coments.

Serbian government pretends as if they just now heard of Kosovo declaring independence soon :) Kostunica and his clan are just Putins marionettes. Wait and see until Russia has bought all relevant Serbian sites and industries and you will get the chance to see and feel Democracy a la Putin.
It is really sad to see that Serbians cannot get rid of old myths and legends, that by they were never prosperous for Serbia, and start building a democratic society.

Ahmet: "Shame on you [B92]. It seems that whenever I gave you facts or I was ahead of you on information you failed to post my coments."

Ahmet, are you seriously suggesting that B92 should rely on you as a journalistic source and publish elements of your comments as 'facts'?

This is even more back-to-front than your comment that the US and EU would veto any move by Russia to put a halt to any illegal breach of UN SC Res. 1244!

Ups, now we have a date as well. What if this one is for real princips and others.

I would suggest Serbian parliament come up with another Resolution aganist Independece of Kosova but this time with a real Resolution not one that would be forgotten within couple of days.

Kosovo independence is written in the stars. The planets are doing back-flips for it. It would be foolish of Albanians not to take advantage of this encouraging aspect!

good, this works out
serbs don't recognize independence hence is theirs, and albanians get recognized by the world hence is theirs

both happy

How many different dates did you submitt to B92? I think the editors got confused because they didn't know which which one to pick.

"current tenants" in your house? How long have been SErbs tenants in that land
and Albanians in theirs?
Both Serbia and Albania were provinces of Turkey, declared independence even though Turkey didn't like it. Turks came from Turkmenistan and considered our home their heart. Same with Serbs.

You may not remember 2/7/90 but who cares, we do. We remember that blessed day like we remember the tanks that you sent soon after (and let's not say more on that). It has been a long and very painful but worthy journey. And don't forget, Serbia would still be ruled by a certain Slobo today if it was not for 2n of July 90.

Tesla,

You can "mark my words" if you wish but so far I have proved right in here with my comments...I know few people have retired here like Ron, Jovan, Peggy and soon will be Princip)))

Mark these words
Serbian national flag will be flying whereever the Serbs live alongside the state flag of the country where they live as well the Albanian flag in Preseva, Bujanovc and Medvedja will fly alongside the Serbian flag.

bganon

pre 16 godina

My sources suggest that the Kosovo Albanians will truly declare independence by the end of the month.

The only chance of their holding off from this would be a clear message from the US. The only chance that message will come is if Serbia holds a general election. In that case the only promise the US is willing to consider is to hold off recognising Kosovo until the election is over - and even then it is not guaranteed.

Kostunica has heard about this and it is another reason why he is playing hardball with Tadic. If the election is only about Kosovo SRS will win and DS hasnt much chance.

We are entering the final stage and nobody really knows whats going to happen.

dear ahmet -- i vote for yr posts whenever i can and identify with you! a few weeks ago i wrote in with the whereabouts of dear mira markovic and co. (slobo's widow, wanted for crimes throughout the free world, you know)and they censored it. then a few days later, in big block letters: "moscow admits to giving refuge to markovic!" i felt like i was owed royalties! i also gave the (general) locations of mladic and karadzic (remember them, the most wanted war criminals in the civilized world with the poss exception of bin laden)and that too was censored! so i shall not repeat it here, because i want to help build up DEMOcratic media, not constantly fight the censor's heavy scissors...

B92 does a decent job in editing Ahmed's prohecies. Personally, I would be using the backspace key a lot more on his posts as his comments usually prove to be only wishful thinking and hence nothing which would amount to actual news. How many times has he challenged people with the phrase: "mark my words?" And then nothing happens.

Besides even if Kosovo declares independence, no Serb will ever recognize it, hence it will always remain Serbian. The turks were a much greater opponent than our current separatist tenants.

Don't worry about the dates guys. It will be all co-ordinated when it comes to Kosova independence. Special measures will be taken to neutralise the Serbian blocade when Kosova declares independence. There would be "No surrender" to Serbian blackmail.

Oh wait...

tesla

pre 16 godina
