Why do people here from the Serb side still keep saying "some Albanians" and trying to downgrade us? Haven't you learned from your troubled past? This is exactly why Kosovo is independent, and also Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Macedonia.
Who do you think you are to beleive that oyu have anything mroe than Albanians?
What kind of country is Serbia when common citizens trats others like "some" piece of dirt? How many Un conventions have you broken with these ideas? You don't realizes you are only hurting yourself this way. Soon every person in Serbia will be independent if you go on like this.

What a bunch of nonsense and wishful thinking! Obama has made it perfectly clear he does not wish America to occupy any lands anywhere in the world nor play the World's police!

Obama and Huckabee are Muslim Albanians worst nightmare if either one of them reaches power in the US!

Do you albanians really think you are worth a breakdown in relations between Russia/China and the west? If so, why haven't they given you permission to declare independence already? The EU is going to try again next week to persuade Russia to abandon Serbia. In chess terms, you are the pawn the west may decide to sacrifice.

Don't get to exited about Obama. War may be the only difference between Obama and Clinton. Obama is for conversation and negotiation even with terrorists countries rather then go to war. Why do you think people are moving toward Obama especially young population who would have to pay the price if they have to fight another war.

I have couple of points to make. First there are no indication that any kind of debate about Kosova status have resurfated in the White House. Anybody familiar with current American politics knowes that. If there is one things that not a single relevant voice (within the Bush administration) opposes, it is the independence of Kosovo. Bolton is well known for his blant style but no one takes him seriously.
Secondly, someone mentioned Obama and Clinton as the only hope that the Albanians have. I don't think so. Senator McCain is one of the most fervent supporters of Kosova's independence. In 1999 he wanted to march in with ground troops in Beograde and, in 2000 asserted that for Kosova, there is not other solution exept independence.

Serbia has proven itself to be a failed State. The Gov't is usually in deadlock. What has Serbia contributed to the World?

In recent times, Serbia has made a farce out of being a Peacemaker. Every conflict in the Balkans has Serbia's fingerprints on it. Why is it that all of the former republics of Yugoslavia felt the need to extricate themselves from relations with Serbia. Oh I know, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Montenegro were at fault for everything that happened to Yugoslavia during the wars of the 1990's.

You know Clinton was in Macedonia when the Macedonian govt. decided to close the boarder to fleeing Kosovar refugees? If she becomes the next president, expect America - serbia relations to be worse.

Yes I do agree that before Bolton was paid before from American tax-payers when he was US ambassador in UN, and now that he is in unemployment, he speaks “his” mind from the Serbs lobbyist payment. Good job. You see then you can help to discover the truth with your comment.
Thanks again smile. You have the best comment of the day.

I have a few questions to you Albanians that post here:

What makes you more important than any other group in the world? Are you upset that the millions of dollars of lobbying in the US has not payed off yet? So if anybody disagrees they are a Serbian lobbyist? Such wonderful logic many of you show. Bolton still wields influence despite what some of you believe. I know you Albanians are hoping for a Clinton and/or Barak victory because that will ensure you being the number one story on the nightly news.

Look,if 27 million Kurds don't have a homeland, what makes you think that you are entitled to one over the objections of many countries? Haven't you guys figured it out yet? The EU is in a rush because they want this issue resolved. They are eager and hoping that the Albanians in Western Europe go back to Kosovo/Albania. Not because they really care about you. I'm sure all of you already knew that but you'll play the victim game. But then again, I can't gauge that since many of you enjoyed seeing your homeland bombed to "free" you with depleted uranium back in 1999. I still think many of you have not thought through what will happen once Kosovo beocmes independent (someday in the distant future) because all of you are in the independence mood (or should I say "Pavaresia"). As ZK put it, you're carving up of other countries will be put to an end soon because the "Great Powers" realize that pandoras box will be opened if they allow you to try land grabs in Macedonia and Kosovo (some of you dream of taking parts of Greece but they are pipe dreams of course).

And please, less chest-thumping like "Kosovo has always been Albanian" or "Kosovo will never be Serbian." Some of you post things just to annoy us and I wish the B92 crew did a better job by not putting up these provocative postings.

An article the other day mentioned interia - the US has definitely suffered from that.

It is clear that the case for independence is by no means cast-iron. The trouble maker Milosevic is long gone, but the US have not re-thought the situation.

Very poor selection in John Bolton by Serbia to lobby in Washington.
John Bolton a failed politician, a flip floper. Pejoni, very good investigative job. Bolton who said already that Kosova is a special case, now says something else. There is a saying here in the USA, about the politician that changes stance, and they are called "FLIP FLOPER".
Bolton a politician that was not confirmed by the congress to serve, and was sacked from UN.
I wold suggest to Serbia next time around if they have to spend money, they should find a better choice than John Bolton, or maybe he was cheap, who knows.

Finally some reasoning coming out of the US. Yes, it's time to take this journey off auto-pilot as it is leading to instability. The Albanians treat the US as friends so if these friends tell them they can't have independence, then they have no choice but to listen.

Why carve up Serbia to give Albanians two countries? You see, they want more than that! If they had thier way, they'd like to carve up Macedonia also and have three countries. Where will it stop? Albanians need to learn to live with their neighbours so we can all prosper together!

“From a U.S. point of view, I think that there are a lot more important issues in bilateral relations with the U.S. than Kosovo, and Kosovo independence would lead to unnecessary instability in the Balkan region,” said the former ambassador.

-And this is the main point. Exactly, why would Kosovo-Albanians bee more important to Americans than its relationship and cooperation with Russia. I think that common sense will prevail after all and after much of debate or USA’s stand on Kosovo status will be frozen for the time being. Or at least I hope it will be. What is important at the moment is that each day some articles and some common sense can be heard in USA and in Europe about the mistake called independence of Kosovo. I am sure there will be much more to be heard out loud as the days go by.

Spot on Bolton ,I couldn't have said all this better myself. The validity of the UN
charter is more important than the wishfull thinking of

Furthermore, the relations

Bolton emphasises the danger
