Rupel has lost all credability since it was uncovered that Slovenia is doing the bidding of the U.S.

there's no such thing as inevitable, only the rule of law in which the EU should now begin to respect, given that it has not done to date.

Now the question is: should we go back (prior to 1999) or move forward (independence).

I am for the second since it is the only real option that will guarantee progress for kosovars- Serbia never did, actually was impeding it. and you/others?

I don't live there, so what would be better would be the choice of the ppl. To me that whole region is YUGOSLAVIA!

And I've had many arguments bc I still refer to the region as Yugo and not by each republics name. ***And if I do not use Capitals for a any specific name or ppl its not that I'm disrespecting any group but I can type faster that way.****

Anyways, this is how I see it. A perfect example is AT&T!

Look at it from its breakup and till this day. It seems that its getting back together.

Kosovo/a will split. There will be a lot of tension amongst the serbs. They will not be happy. BUT BOTH WILL JOIN EU/NATO! So they will breakup and then kiss and make up. And the reason for the make up is ECONOMICS.

Ben it would of been better had the country been in Tito's era and remained neutral. The 60's and 70's brought much economic prosperity. The only problem was that communism was not a viable system and that it caused corruption. And Serbia liked to DICTATE THINGS to ppl and not work with them.

So yes Kosovo/a will seperate, there will be a time of learning, growth, reconciliation, and of joining back with Serbia when both join the EU.

I give it a decade of 2 for this to happen.

Ppl will realize that all their differences were not that great, and once the smoke screen of political lies clears, both sides will realize hey we're both human. Unless the radicals gain power then this will be a long struggle for reconciliation amongst both sides.

Here is to peace and prosperity! And happy ash wednesday to those that celebrate it!
