it's amazing how far you can go w a half tank of gas, as you continue to refill... and so very touching that the ultras here care so much about kosova's fate. the thing is, my advice to the ultras -- you have enough on your own plates to keep you busy for at least another 100 years. you take care of yourself, we'll take care of ours.

These K-albos are becoming the North Koreans of the Balkans. They make empty threats and live in a nothing province just to get sympathy and money from the west. They will be "planning to declare independence" for the rest of the year.

I heard Serbia has agreed to recognise Kosovos independence. But under one condition, it has to be declared on 28 Dec so Albanians can't celebrate it every year.

I just can't wait to see the look on the Albanians faces when their new multi-ethnic flag and symbols go up.

Yes, Kosovo may declare independence and get some recognition, but that is like filling your car with half a tank of gas. You may get somewhere, but not where you really want to be. Good luck building an economy on gas stations/pizza shops/hotels, coffee shops, and taxi services. And Trepca? Even if it hold 20 billion euros in resources, that won't last you forever.

Speculation dates, eh? Maybe tomorrow? Maybe next week? Maybe next months?

How about Pristina offers a raffle: guess the correct date and win a canned ham or something. Make it exciting! Offer all sorts of prizes and gifts.

Just like Roulette! ;)

dear albanian hostages of kid-charlemagnes :)
if you wish for your province to ever be majority employed in any other trade, if you wish for status that will be recognized and wont keep investors at least 2000 miles away, you must know that your unilateral declarations of today, just as those in the past, are not worth the paper they're written on.
kosovo is now a field where usa and russia play to prove their supremacy. so the us might twist arms in the eu and have some countries recognize such a ridiculous abomination, kosovo's unilateral independence. but such kosovo will never be able to become a member of any int organization that russia has a veto in, don’t you know that we paid this service with i believe 1.5 billion euros recently. so the us can claim victory, and moscow will too. kosovo will continue its twilight zone existence. north will continue its separate life. serbia will take what it can from eu, block what it can south of ibar. kosovo will never be an independent country. it will be a territory that considers itself independent. friendly governments will send you aid, because like i said no investor will touch you with a long stick. it's a fascinating thing, you can make a large country toe the line but even a small international company will not spend a dime because of someone's political cue. just like in the rest of serbia, it's the economy, charlemagne! ;)
you'll find out.
