Citizens of Serbia, now is your best chance to let your nation be run by true patriots. The last decade of post war inaction has left you increasingly economically deprived and isolated. You can clearly see what co-operation with the EU means. The cynical politics of the EU in recent days is too little too late. GET OUT AND VOTE.

Go out and have your say, then complain about the outcome.Everybody knoks that Tadic will win with 53.5% of the vote, Nicolic will gain 45.9% and the rest will be spoiled.

bganon,

I was just disappointed in Tadic, he made me very angry because of his style during campaign. I did not expect him to use the language of intimidation and to insist on the EU as our only alternative. My opinion is that all of them should maintain certain level of moral. However, as a Serbian citizen I am insulted the way that EU treats us all. First they threat us with isolation if Nikolic wins. Is that democracy? So, if majority of Serbian people choose Nikolic for their president Europe uses the filthiest possible manners and intimidation as a one of their magic tools. They directly meddle into our election process and give their promises that they do not address them later on because there is always new condition that Serbia must fulfil. They treat us so badly that is hardly digestible to me. They humiliate our people and continuously impose conditions while same time work on partitioning of our country. All I am saying is that the EU is playing dirty games with us ordinary citizens. If you can understand this then it is ok, but I cannot.

All I expect from the EU is to respect the will of majority of the people, that’s all. Give me one good reason why would they stop cooperation with Serbia if Nikolic wins? If that is the democracy they propagate, then I say thanks, but no thanks. Nonetheless, I really do not mind any longer who will win, nothing can surprise me nor can scare me. I won't take part in the elections because I do not want to feel any responsibility in both wining cases.

Assuming that nothing got lost in translation, I'm really surprised at the immaturity coming from Dodik's mouth..

It doesn't MATTER if you think Nikolic is a disaster. Let the voters in Serbia decide this. Dodik's position should be to hope for a fair and free election, and congratulate the outcome.
Speak in positives, allow for language that results in political maneuvering, and for GOD'S SAKE.....STOP SPEAKING IN ABSOLUTES..

@ Lenard.
Who put sour milk in your cornflakes this morning?
You might not like it, but the RS is a valid and Internationally recognized entity, signed on by ALL parties..
If Alija, Milosevic, Tudjmann and Clinton signed for it, accept the fact, and find a better method of chanelling your anger.

As far as I can see, the only reason Dodik is rambling, is because he'll lose some sort of personal gain. I'm sure if Nikolic and the Radical Party had financial ties to Dodik, the song would have a different melody...

bmrusila I dont have any problem in honesty, really.

OK so Tadic has led a negative campaign, not a dirty campaign. Part of his campaign consists of calling societies attention to the 1990's. That is negative.

Nikolic generally behaved better - as he was trying to act in a presidential way to attract new voters. However, Vucic in his daily press conferences did lead both a dirty and negative campaign.
If you saw them you will know what I am talking about. Vucic (and Nikolic did this as well in the duel) rather than criticising Tadic or his policies was trying to muck rake on people / political parties that support Tadic. That is dirty and is kind of stupid as it wasnt even dirt about Tadic but on his supporters.

Yes Vucic was playing bad cop and Nikolic (this time) good cop

Giver, how did Tadic 'rule' Serbia for eight years? Milosevic was still in charge 8 years ago... Together with your beloved SRS.
Tadic has been president for less than 4 years and was only a minister before.
Support Nikolic as much as you want, but at least try to stick to reality.

bganon,

I think you are mistaken when claim that many in this site are radical voters. Sometimes radical speech does not mean vote for radicals. But be honest and admit that Tadic led dirty campaign. That was not presidential campaign but the campaign of intimidation and people get sick and tired after his speeches full of phrases and empty promises. You cannot deny that Nikolic did behave much better. You also must admit that meddling of the EU during the campaign had negative effects since they treated Serbs as mentally retarded electorate who have no capacity to estimate what and who is best suitable for them.

Nikolic seems like a pretty honest guy, Tadic has ruled Serbia for 8 years and did NOT do what he had promised. In fact, he did the opposite! It is time for a change and to give someone else a chance to lead Serbia. The world has changed and is still changing since 1999. Our biggest and most powerful ally in the world has returned as Superpower. Serbia must change along with the world, we are no longer alone. Serbia MUST coordinate its actions with Moscows. I'd rather stick with my friends than those who oppress and attack me.

Citizens of Serbia, go out and VOTE! this weekend, for whomever you think deserves to win.

- God bless

You're not any better Dodik how many years has Bosnia Republic wasted with you're Srpska entity's obstruction of real progress. I guess you are the expert in these matters you and your Srpska entity it sure has been fatal like the words you use to Bosnia and the 10s of thousand murdered civilian victims of Srpska. Dodik their is no difference between you and Nikolic and what you both stand fore it is the like the pot calling the kettle black. What dose that have to say fore the poor victimized Bosnia of you and of the Srpska entity like you said they’ve left chaos in their wake now you pretend to represent all the interest of Serbs. We’ve seen that in the RS,“ he concluded. We sure have and the hole world sees it day after day you and you're Srpska entity's nonsense.
Dodik said that in his campaign, Nikolić had “skilfully concealed the SRS’s true intentions,“ by donning a “European suit.“ What of any difference are you doing I'm guessing he took a page out of your plans and of Srpskas.

Well Dodik has called it as he sees it.
Some people might wonder why it takes somebody from Republika Srpska to warn us about the future when so many visitors here seem to be in favour of Nikolic.

Any Nikolic supporters care to comment on Dodik's comments or that of Pupovac?
