jovan,
"albanian dirty tricks?" even though we don't employ such tactics, you'd think we'd know almost every trick in the book having been taught by the very best over the years. meaning belgrade who has always looked out for albanians with only there best intentions in mind. jesus! i was laughing as i wrote that last part. :)

It's funny to read some of the comments here, especially the one from Jovan 30. You said: "well, my dear albanian friends... you are time and again talking about "dirty tricks" by the Serbs... but, in reality, it is you who are forced to that level of behaviour, since the law, morality, ethics, history and justice are on the side of the serbian state". This is really funny, morality, law, ethics, justice were never on your kiddo. A country that started 4 wars in last 10 years, what a hell are you talking about.
Kosovo will be Independent, one way or another.

If there was any credibility to this we would have a name of this EU minister.

Just the mere fact that Greece and Romania are going to cave in in the second round is laughable. Spain doesn't want the same trouble for themselves, so why should they do themselves any damage?

I've followed world politics and I tell you that since Kosova won't join UN any time soon, it's going to take a couple decades for every single country to recognize it. It doesn't matter for us, like a deck of cards they will all will fall and recognition will become "the rage".

It is worth mentioning, Deputy Chair of the Russian State Duma, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Vladimir Zhirinovsky announced on air of Echo Moskvy Radio that sooner or later, Russia would recognize Kosovo’s independence under pressure of the West. According to the MP, Kosovo would obtain independence “right after pro-Western forces win at the election in Serbia.” Zhirinovsky claims that Russia’s position on Kosovo is dependant upon assessment of the outcomes of the March presidential election in Russia by the world community. “To make the West connive at the outcome of the March 2 election, we shall recognize Kosovo and betray the Serbs, our last allies,” believes Zhirinovsky.

This whole recognition thing is pointless and shows the lack of legitimate authority in Kosovo as its own independence is dictated by outside powers, which by definition, makes Kosovo anything but independent. If there's going to be any "recognition", it's recognition that Kosovo is little more than EU real estate. Fine by me. It merely validates the idea that independence is going to look very different than from what many here have been predicting.

Kosova is becoming an independent state, maybe even as soon as this Sunday. Live with it, Kosova is rightfully returning to its original roots = ALBANIAN, SHQIPTARE

Hey guys

They just hope that by the end of the third wave the USA and the EU will force those 6-7 to recognise, which I doubt they will succeed . Few days ago Czech Republic stated they won't recognise before certain standards in legal system are achieved, and so on. Maybe Albanians should organise more then 3 waves.

" Spain and Italy will be in the second round, Greece and Romania would do it later, according to this source."

This is a pretty good indication of how credible the source is...hmmm should I trust this unnamed source? or the Romanian PM who just last week announced they wont recognize Kosovo ever?!

Pathetic honestly!

But the EU will not achieve unity over the issue as Cyprus is most probably the only state that will not recognize the independence of the province, the Financial Times said.

- So that means Kosovo will remain Serbia proper. Since EU/UN will NEVER recognise it. Therefor, all in vain. Resolution 1244 remains the only legal document. Which will be respected by everyone that matters to upkeeping international law. CCCC

I'd say there is a bit of wishful thinking here. There will definitely be more than just Cyprus who do not recognise Kosovo.

But this information comes from "Albanian" sources so that pretty much says it all.

It's interesting how they imply support for Tadic. They may see him as the easier path to achieve their goals.

I wouldn´t take this too serious , my dear friends...

since we could witness the dilettantish attempt of the US-administration to dicate the Slovenians what to do ( who did not read about it, just check it for yourself, about a protocol made public by a slovenian politician who had to resign afterwards )

the Slovenians were told to be the first to recognise the planned puppet-state and what is even more interesting, the K-albanians were advised to declare "independance" on a sunday in order to make it impossible for Russia to organize a UNSC-meeting...

well, my dear albanian friends... you are time and again talking about "dirty tricks" by the Serbs... but, in reality, it is you who are forced to that level of behaviour, since the law, morality, ethics, history and justice are on the side of the serbian state. ( and with the events unveiled by the slovenian guy, the whole world could see who needs what kind of tricks here )

and there we can also see how desperate the US-policy actually is, since they are reduced to those poor tricks, instead of having the means of a "one and only global super-power"...

you may use your own brains now to think it over, whether you believe to get away with it...

I do not believe you will.

I would interprete this article here as just another piece of quite simple propaganda...
Romania or Greece recognizing you? well, let´s better not count on that, kids.

..so, I´ll repeat what I always say: let´s see what future brings!
