Đelić: EU proposal equals membership offer

I just wonder aren’t they all ashamed running such a dirty campaign. This is how Tadic is going to win, just because they are promising EU carrots. If you read between the lines you can see that the EU won’t maybe approve even this carrot if Tadic does not win, said Mr Ljajic. It is so humiliating to say something like this. And after this I should believe in the EU’s honest attempts by directly meddling in Serbian elections and blackmail Serbian citizens. I just do not appreciate the EU and its values if that very EU does not respect the will of Serbian people and their right to vote who ever they like in democratic and fair elections. The EU‘s methods do not differ much from Stalin’s methods, they are just more sophisticated nowadays. “If you do not do as we say then you will be isolated”-this how the USA and the EU spread their democracy to the world.

I am just scared that promises will remains promises. Eu asks a lot from Serbia since 1999th, asked Milošević to be upset-done, Milošević to be given out to Den Haag-done, after to do the same with Šešelj-done and I see no moves from a side of EU. Politicians who leads EU thinks on a very very wrong way, people who never traveled, how to understand what that minor number of person, who talks about a life, traditions of the other countries? Serbian politicians doesn't need visa, doesn't need to travel 200 kms to reach some embassy of EU country in Belgrade, if we want to meet persons who are close to us, who are important to us, we MUST! WE JUST WANT TO HAVE A NORMAL LIFE, TO BE FREE IN REACHING PERSONS WHO ARE OUR BELOVED ONES!

How obvious is this? This is why Kostunica the only sane Serbian politician is withholding from giving his support because he can see what kind of election this is and on top of that who the candidates are.

I think that the only thing that Serbia needs from the EU is free visa regime. The thing is that the EU is making promises every time when there are elections but never really addressed to the given promises. That is the least they could do in these neraly 9 years but were not willing to do it.It is truly funny when they speak about isolation if Nikolic wins while Serbia is still isolated with democratic representatives. They keep Serbs in ghetto,and still impose conditions while trying to strip away a part of our country in the filthiest possible way. That is the EU and I have no illusions any longer that the EU has good intentions towards Serbia.

Congratulations Serbia! You deserve to be in the EU since your political rhetoric has reached american-like levels. Your deputy's statement reminds me of when George W. Bush stood on an aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf and said "Mission Accomplished"
