Of course no politician likes to lose an election, but Tadic may not be heartbroken if he loses this time.

If that happens, Nikolic will have the dubious honor of being president when (a.) Kosovo is finally 'lost' -- and despite all his rhetoric President Toma cannot really do anything to stop it from happening; and (b.) Serbia falls off the 'fast-track' to Europe -- the EU foreign ministers in Brussels on Monday stated quite clearly that if Nikolic becomes the president all deals are off the table.

The political and economic consquequences will not be pleasant. And in the end, people will blame Nikolic not only for the things he said and did, but even for those things that he couldn't really do anything about. His presidency may not turn out to be any more fun than his brief term as speaker of Parliament.

Nikolic would speed up defenetely Kosova's full independence and isolate Serbia further. We all want the first one but not the second one as Serbia is our neighbour.

It is ironic that Nikolic is picking up the majority viewpoint - yes to EU but not at the cost of kosovo & Metohija!

Where and what is Tadic standing for - EU at any cost!

I hoped that this would not be so but it would seem Tadic is doing his utmost to lose - does he not wnat to be President?
