German position towards Serbs - well, what to say, is someone suprized? I'm not, there is nothing new under the sun. Geopolitics interests doesn't change that fast. We, Serbs, can count on Germans trying to harm us when ever possible.

Joe, Mike, I could give you many links about horrible crimes committed against Serbs by Croats, Albanians, Bosnian Muslims, Turks, Hungarians, Austrians, Germans, who not, but I will not. It is not related to the topic. Although, coming to think about it, I think it's strange how Albanian posters on the forum keep repeating that they were / are Serb victims over the centuries, even victim of genocide. Yet, during long centuries of Turkish terror, Serbs were Christian "raya", without any rights, and Muslim Albanians had all privileges and political, economic and military power in the province. How could "raya" terrorize privileged? Wasn't it other way around maybe? Also, how can it be that number of Akbaninas, (alleged victims), keeps growing and number of Serbs, (alleged perpetuators), keeps dropping? Something strange here.

Germany hints???

Please all albanians here, go tell Germany that germany have already decided on recognizing Kosovo, thats what I thought all the time here from reading your posts.

I have reasons to doubt in authenticity of the articles that mike zagreb linked. Firstly because Serbs in the article were called Servians, which was not typical for the year 1912. Serbs were called Servians in some VI or VII century or even before. In 1912 Serbs were called Serbs everywhere in the world including USA. Just wonder why now Servians? But I know for sure that Albanians do call us Servians. Besides this articles were posted in some Albanian sites. The confusing thing is the quality of prints. Is it possible that 1912 there was no sufficient printing quality. The letters and the rows are not following the straight line. It is just falsifications written by Albanians.

Joe,
Poor you, please do some extensive reading about the crimes in Serbia by Austro-Hungarian Empire and then do read about the crimes in Serbia by Hungarian fascist. I recommend you Archibald Rice who documented very well the crimes against Serbs by the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

What do these links have to do with German recognition of Kosovo?

Joe

Probably the same way you would if you were to read about the Novi Sad massacre by Hungarian facists. Serbs are not the only Europeans to have commited atrocities, there are many others.

In order from Mike Zagreb, to Joe, to B92...

Mike Zagreb...It's a 1912 article, and you're clearly handpicking history.
It was a selective and orchestrated event. Hardly different from what the Turks,Bulgarians, Austrians, Hungarians and Albanians had done ten times worse and ten times over.

Considering the mass loss of Serb lives during these times, this handpicked incident was a drop in the bucket..And WW1 hadn't even started.

To Joe...
I'm surprised that you didn't know about this..
I've read many of your posts, and clearly, you've been educated in early Austro-Hungarian doctrines of anti Serb publications. It's the folklore that uneducated Grandfathers keep alive in the young hearts and minds of their children.

How can people like Mike Zagreb and Joe have no shame in their comments?
Joe, how dare you ask the Serbs of '41 to '45 how they feel??

To B92:
Why do you allow these posters to display such contempt?
There's many other places for history lessons. I don't see how a German FM quote allows these boards to get so cluttered with garbage??

Now I am curious, how Americans will read about these crimes.

http://www.fpif.org/fpiftxt/4811

And hope, we (I woke up with my American foot today) will vote the *** PROPER *** presidential candidate, not "Mama Warbucks".

------------------

Someone did mention my previous comment about 35K Hungarian and German victims in 44-45 to YUGOSLAV PARTIZANS OF TITO. Thanks for making it clear for me: Yugoslavia = Serbia. So what is Serbia after all? Who are the Serbs?

peggy

pre 16 godina

Negotiated settlement cannot be reached so Serbia must be the loser then. Let's punish Serbia for failing to reach a negotiated settlement.

A negotiated settlement was never going to be reached because the Albanians were told it was not in their interest to negotiated, so why not punish the Albanians for this failure?

Germany, you are not dealing with children and ignorant people. Using such an excuse to steal Serbian land is not convincing at all.
You have tried to destroy Serbia on more than one occasion and failed. This will end the same way. This will end in your shame again, ony this time you will take Serbia's foremer allies down with you.

Mike Zagreb,

How terrible! I did not know about these attrocities...committed already in 1912.
Last week A read the link of Ataman of this site about Serbian attrocities of 1944 against Hungarians of Vojvodina and the resulting killing of 35,000 of them.
Reading this link I can see that the same brutality and sadism were already there in 1912. I am just wondering how Serbs feel reading about such terrible crimes.

read these two articles to give you a sense of what Serbs havce done to Albanians for years ... enough it enough.

Reported by NY Times in 1912 .. no more Albanian blood for no reason. Serbs need to find other places to fight. Albanians are looking toward EU and Serbs can choose their path.

given that in the UNSC the position is quite clear...

I really don´t know whether you are properly informed about that... it´s 11:4 against a pseudo-"independence"...

so, don´t be that sure about " nobody caring about UNSC 1244"!

Perjoni: "We the Albanian ppl are thankful for the position Germany has decided to take as many other EU friends."

I realise that you think of Germany as 'old friends' (not so sure that they would like this association), but let's just see what actually happens. There is a lot of posturing going on; lots of empty words and promises.

Well Albanians can now take heart that the quasi-legal colony they will create in SE Europe will be propped up by not just Americans.

At the same time, us Americans can take heart that another country is at least interested in footing the bill in this colonial endeavor, thus saving us the taxpayer from complete responsibility for handouts.

Germany has played a very significant role in negotiations between east and west. Prishtina and Belgrade were never part of these negotiations, just faces for the cameras. At the end Germany has the obligation to do what’s good for Europe not what’s good for Washington or Moscow.

Some sort of independence is inevitable and Germany knows that very well. With time Serbia will also have no alternative but to come to terms with reality.

Pejoni

Now, I would like to hear Princip, Jovan, Katie and the rest of Serb camp trying to explain how Serbian expertis with help from Russia will stop the proclamation and how Kosova cannot become Independent?

(exclude Res 1244, its getting old and no one seems to care anymore)
