Not only did UEFA move the Patizan-Leeds game away from Belgrade, but they moved it to Heerenveen which was much more accessible for Leeds fans giving effectively two games where they would have home support.

Zvezda were more fortunate that their "home" game was in Vienna which has a large Serb population. Robin Cook, then UK foregin secretary badgered UEFA into moving that match.

Isn't this the same Lennart Johansson who happily went along with the mixing of sport and politics when the Yugoslav football team was banned from participating in the 1992 European Championship but ignoring that Zagreb - home of Dinamo Zagreb team, benefit fundraisers for Ante Gotovina - was involved in the Bosnian area of the Yugoslav civil war? The same Lennart Johansson of some years ago who went along with mixing sport and politics with English side Leeds United not wanting to go to play a match in the UEFA Cup against Partizan in Belgrade, despite other countries doing so, and forcing the Belgrade side into disadvantage through not being able to play at home? The same Lennart Johansson who went along with further mixing of sport an politics when some years back English football side Leicester City didn't want to play a match against Zvezda in Belgrade in a UEFA Cup round, even though other countries had teams that did come to Belgrade? And they went home - alive, and without any extra holes in them!

Let us not pretend that Lennart Johansson is 100% a sportsman and hasn't been mixed in politics that have nothing to do with sport.
