What does Serbia get from the deal? Gas? It could get gas from Nabucco. Sure, it would have to pay for a connection to the pipeline, probably at the nearest point in Romania (which would conveniently not be so far from Banatski Dvor). It could pay for that pipeline and much more with the extra money it gets by selling NIS in a public tender instead of for peanuts to Russia. Serbia is selling its soul to Russia and not really getting anything in return.
