It is said by some that if Nikolic wins then young and intelligent Serbians will leave Serbia for a brighter future elsewhere. I doubt this. Serbia is a developing economy and the perfect place for young intelligent people to thrive. Middle-aged industrial workers may have a harder time.

If Tadic wins and Serbia is put on an accelerated path to the EU (which I think is inevitable) then Serbia's young intelligentsia will certainly leave Serbia to become cleaners and manual labourers in the West.

God Save Serbia from Solana and the EU.

Serb citizens will decide the election. Kostunica has done nothing for Serbia, apart from portray an image as an ageing nationalist communist who is happier to keep himself in power, the mafia rich and the people poor with nonsensical rhetoric. Kosovo is already independent, but if Nicolic and Kostinica's pro Russia and anti-EU policies win, then the rest of Serbia will fall apart with more and more bits breaking away from them, as the younger and forward thinking older people leave the country.

Koštunica like Milosevic? Unlike Milo, Koštunica is a real patriot who is responsible for the delayed status of Kosovo.

Koštunica is to lead the country not Tadic or Nikolic.

Long live DSS!

Koštunica's political background doesn't change much from Milošević so it is in his honour to support Tomislav Nikolić and not to play games by "supporting" Boris Tadić. I would say that presidential race should be between Tomislav Nikolić and Čedomir Jovanović. First represents the nationalist President and second represents europian President. It shoud be up to people to choose who should be the next president and where Serbia should head to. Boris Tadić is nothing. He was a president orchestrated by Koštunica and not himself.

Kostunica should not support Tadic. They clearly have very different views about Serbia's future course.

If he supports Nikolic then he will face a torrent of abusive attacks from Western leaders and their tame Press Corp.

Better simply to say that his vote is a private matter and to call upon all loyal citizens to search their souls and to vote for the candidate who will best defend Serbian interests.
