That thought also crossed my mind Ahmet. But if you're wondering about the churches, never fear. They haven't forgotten about them, and it's just a matter of time before efforts are made to repair/rebuild most of them. A truly good gesture from Pristina would be to help in the repairing efforts, especially on some of the medieval churches and monasteries that were damaged/destroyed.

Ahmet: Be happy that the Serb government has finally decided to show some generosity! It cannot hurt us to have the Serb government waste its money in a way that actually assists us. It's a first, I know, but better late then never. :)
Let them invest in the infrastructure of Kosova because there is no need to look a gift horse in the mouth. After all it is only fair that Serbia shares in the burden of building an independent Kosova after all the mayhem they caused there. Tung!

Ahmet Isufi,

You might be right when saying that UNMIK has no say on anything but I cannot see Albanians have say on anything either. It seems that Belgarde still runs the show and have control over Kosovo. Poor you, just believe in tales that Albanians have right on saying anything and make decisions for themselves. Look what is Belgarde doing, just take a close look. They are walking all over Kosovo and open the paralel institutions right in front of your faces and someone is saying that Belgarde has no control over its province. You made my day once again :))))

Serbia not the only country to invest in Kosovo.
Kosovar Gov't expects many countries to invest in Kosovo.
Serbia same as many other countries especialy neighbouring countries should be welcomed to invest, nothing wrong with that.
Having said that, yes of course Serbian companies will have to consult first of all Kosovar Gov't, but if investment in days might be UNMIK or EUMIK if investment later than 2-3 months.
Serbia seems to have changed her mind regarding economical blockade, again good news for serbian minority in Kosovo.

These are good measues to assist the in solving the problems that Pristina and its ministers provides its minorities every day. However, as you can tell by the first two comments, its not much compared to the money sent for building jihadi-oriented training centers.

albanians will cut and sabotage any electricity going to Serbian villages, just like they did in the 60s,70 and 80s.
At least with UMNIK aroud that won`t be as easy. They should not forget to put cameras all over the place just in case.!

When UNMIK had a saying over Kosova are long gone, wake up and smell the coffee.
Mike;
I am wondering what happened to monasteries/patriarchs amongst many other religious sites that Serbia claims to call them the craddle of Serbia. You just made my day with with your convincing coments.WAY to GO pro Serb camp.

If these are signs that Belgrade is working to consolidate its hold over Serb enclaves in Kosovo, encouraging Serbs to stay and work there, then it is a good sign indeed, and LONG overdue. It's even better to see that serious investments are planned for Serb sectors south of the Ibar too, and we're not just talking about large enclaves like Strpce and Gracanica, but Orahovac as well. To make it even better, Samardžić et al, seemed to travel through Kosovo unencumbered. This pretty much shows that Pristina will have little to no authority over the Serb enclaves in whatever capacity Kosovo finds itself in.

I think that first two comments are nothing but pathetic and kind of frithened because of the actions taken by Belgrade . If the deal is reached between UNMIK and Belgrade, Albanians have nothing to say neither they have any right of saying anything since UNMIK holds the all power in its hands. That is going to be for long, long time. Next step will be oppening the new goverment office in the South of Ibar river. Maybe in Ranilug or even Strpce. Just watch and enjoy the next steps that will be taken by Belgarde and Albanians cannot say anything, the UNMIK will be the one with final word. And if we think even UNMIK is powerless to go against Belgrade's decision since Belgarde is taking steps in the line with the law. Resolution 1244 guarantees Serbia all rights over Kosovo and Metohija.

Phantom Ministers visit Kosova. I know all Ministers in Kosova Govermant , but I never heard these names running Ministires in K-Govermant.
What are they talking aboutbuilding mini-powers station and supplying electricity to areas in south for Serb minorities.

It’s fanny, pathetic and unfortunately useless over the long term! It’s like Portugal’s Ministers visiting Macau, the last European colony in China, for some electoral agenda because Portuguese people and some Portuguese nationals that still live there can’t give up despite the handover in 1999!
Besides it’s a little bit late to dress up as a Santa Claus? Isn’t it? I also thought that no adult today believe in Santa Claus story. Without doubt I was wrong, there is still some in Ranilug, Vrbovac, Štrpce, etc. that still believe in him. Happy Chrismas then!
