It's very easy for you to point the finger at me - why not come up with your own comment instead?
(kate, 18 January 2008 12:54)

It is because quite often the words hurt more then actions Kate.
That “if” of yours proves that though you “tried” to show sympathy, all you did is showed how biased you are.
Just in case you missed something, it is 48 members of one family.
Do you know how many Albanian families (how many Berisha families) have similar “stories” to tell (of course “if” their stories are true)?
So please, do not pretend to show sympathy if you do not actually mean it.

Laki NY: As you well know, that is not true.

I say 'if' because this is a criminal proceeding and you can't accept testimony on its own as evidence (unless you want mob justice). As I said, I am certain that many things like this did happen.

It's very easy for you to point the finger at me - why not come up with your own comment instead?

Any one involved in this crime should be tried at the scene of the crime or the Hague.

If a Serb is found guilty (in Belgrade court) he will receive a slap in the wrist. Come to Kosova, the UNMIK (Int Judges) will lock you up for good.

ooh -- i have a great idea, really. let's bring serb forces back into kosovo/a and see what happens, i mean now that they're nice and democratic and peace-loving and all. not like in the bad old days way back in the 90s.

and another thing, nationalists -- i don't want or need yr phoney crocadile tears. just stick to yr greater heavenly agenda, ad nauseum, which you do so very well and with such insolent stridency!

ohh Kate and your "if"
when you are not going to be subjective ?
You cry and moan for every single Serbian victim, but when it comes to 1 million Albanian expelled from Kosova your respond is “if”

So Peggy,
Once you said to me that what we had in Yugoslavia was a civil war and things like this can happen.
Peggy, when the police massacres civilians, does that still constitute to a civil war?
Also if the “Serbian legitimate” police forces did this, what do you think that Serbian paramilitary forces have done those days?

If this crime happened (and I am certain many things like this did happen from all sides in the Balkan wars) then those responsible should be locked up for life.

This method of killing people was also used during WWII to kill prisoners of war. It is astoundingly cruel and anyone who could do that to defenceless people, especially children, is a despicable heartless shame to humanity. That also goes for the other barbaric ways of killing people.

I would say the same for a victim of any ethnicity and a criminal of any ethnicity. What about Ahmet and Doni - can they also overlook ethnicity when it comes to these sorts of crimes?
