"He said that support for Tadić would not decline even if the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) was not signed with the EU at the end of the month."

- now that is news DS officials suggesting that SAA may not be signed by the end of the month. Surely he is not suggesting that Tadic is turning away from the EU? Why would it not be signed? Is it that the EU technocrats want Tadic to fail ? The idea of not signing because Mladic is not in the Hague is just an excuse as it did not stop them from signing SAA for Montenegro or BiH yet Mladic is just as likely to be in either of these countries along with Karadzic! If EU do not sign SAA but agree to send their mission on the 28th January then they will be abandoning Tadic just when he needs their support - friends indeed!

That said Tadic and Kostunica have been a very good partnership for Serbia and if the EU do indeed follow such an abandonment path then I guess even Tadic might re-consider his Euro-atlantic perspective in the future - Serbia's Sovereign integrity is definetly not a game and the EU membership would be great but not a price worth partition and the EU will have shown their position either - anti-international law or supporters of international law!
