'It seems that for the Serbian camp here, any Serb should be awarded absolute impunity, on a mere account that he is a Serb, even if he physically attacks a public official, even in front of the cameras.'

No Adrian, its the K-Albanians who have been awarded with absolute impunity with the KLA sponsored ethnic cleansing of Serbs, 2004 pogroms, destruction of churches, numerous incidents of intimidations and murders. I call it double standards.

The KLA police have no problem arresting a Serb and throwing the book at him literally however when a church is burnt down or a pensioner's throat is slit, the usual "no suspects" line is trotted out by the Albanian police. Great sense of justice here considering as bmrusila stated "If it wasn't sad it would be funny since the Albanian crimianls are walking freely and not a one has ever been brought to the justice for commited crimes against Serbs" which is so true.

It is no wonder that K-Serbs and other ethnic minorities have no faith whatsoever in the KLA mafiocracy.

Where's the sense of justice when the system is so one sided. Shades of the Unionist-Protestant Stormount government in Northern Ireland pre 1969.

bmrusila you are wrong, becasue there was no verbal asault but physical asault.Actually the school principal in gorazhdevac was the initiator and he ended up with blody nose whne he assaulted bodygurads of SRSG and COMKFOR. Everything is recorded and is on tape, even you hear the initiator telling his thugs how to procede with assault.

It seems that for the Serbian camp here, any Serb should be awarded absolute impunity, on a mere account that he is a Serb, even if he physically attacks a public official, even in front of the cameras. Who are you, the chosen people, for whom no law applies, no rule is valid, not even common human decency?
Unbeleavable!!!
We all saw on TV what happened, the footage is very clear of who the agressors are. If the Serbs didn't like what Ruecker said, they could've spoken back to him, not reach for his throat and attempt to strangulate him. And to hear this mindless chorus here raise in their defense. Amazing, absolutely amazing.

Hey adrian, from things we've seen in the past on tv it is very clear who the agressors are. Any and every Albanian IS awarded absolute impunity even when they desecrate graves, burn down churches, throw grenades into peoples houses, kill serbs in the most inhumane ways possible. And you want to talk about common human decency? Know what is absolutely amazing? Reuker stating in his report that there was no threat to the serbs. I don't know, a few hundred or even thousand albanians burning down over 50 churches dating back to as early as the 14th century doesnt appear to be that much of a concern for UNMIK or KFOR? and hav Reuker say that nothing happened in his report? trust me, there are people here who would rather dose him in petrol and turn him into a candle light vigil. but we are more civilised than that. Surprising how he has the nerve to show up to Gorazdevac and then later on to report that nothing had happened. See, kostunica and the serbian government held an official protest.... and still nothing has been done.

No they were Albanians acting like Serbs so Serbs would look bad. 95 percent of albanians speak Serbian you know but just won't admit it.

This is incredible - Serbs charged with a scuffle. Oh brother! What about all of the corrupt UNMIK guards that turn a blind eye to the drug/sex slave/ammunition trafficking? Oh, forgot - they're exempt as they have the US/EU backing them up.

This is a bad move by UNMIK. Especially now. Is there not a single wise person UNMIK?
This organization has proved to apply a double standard between Serbs and Muslims time and time again, not to mention they are without a doubt one of the worlds most corrupt organizations. Just research UNMIK on Google and you will find dozens of scandals involving them in Kosovo.

Why even attack KFOR in the first place, they wanted attention and now they face justice by the Kosovar Law just like every other citizen.

Strange how quick the pre-judicial system suddenly works when it is Serbs who have done something. Especially strange when the daily attacks on civilians, churches, banks, houses (with electrical faults[sic]) well they all go uninvestigated and are not ethnically motivated of course!

I can fully understand why they would be pissed off being preached to in their own country by the likes of Ruecker. Perhaps we will find out what he said, and how insulting, offensive or biased it was.

Not that I'm justifying things turning violent, but I would understand how it would really annoy to be spoken down to by internationals in your own nation.

But then this will happen to all citizens, regardless of ethnicity, when the EU takes over.

So funny how quickly Pristina's quasi law enforcement and legal systems act when they are arresting and prosecuting Serbs - yet, not a single Albanian criminal has been identified or brought to justice for criminal acts committed against Serbs. BTW, why was Reucker, the pro-Albanian UN mouthpiece even in that part of Kosovo, he is not welcome there. Don't these phoney beaurocrats get it? Their bias is as thick as a brick.

5 years for public disorder, that seems a little steep.

I see the KPS has no trouble finding and arresting K-Serb suspects. Where are the arrests of the people who massacred the farmers of Staro Gracko, or the people who lead the March 2004 pogrom, or the people who burned down the churches, or the people who cut the throats of serbian pensioners etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc?

My too sense. . .

"kosovar" justice. . .

Serbians pushing and punching bodyguards in Kosovo = prison terms from the albanian authorities

Albanians killing Serbian civilians and destroying their churches and homes = the following statement from the albanian authorities: "we have no suspects"

Here we go again with intimidation of the Serbs. The justice seem to be only applicable when Serbs do something and in this case they only verbaly assaulted poor Mr Ruecker. The small physical attack on the KFOR soldiers will be turned as a murder attempts in order to sentence them for more years. If it wasn't sad it would be funny since the Albanian crimianls are walking freely and not a one has ever been brought to the justice for commited crimes against Serbs.Furthermore, Mr Ruecker came to Gorazdevac where those kids were murdered and the perpetrators have never been found. His visit was nothing more but provocation.

These Serbs should be immediately moved to Serbia and be under protection of Serbia's authorities. I fear for them as they could be sentenced for many years imprisoned. Serbs already expirienced enough of the Albanian exercise of democracy.
