I think Slovenia has a crush on us. They are so interested in making our political...no no pardon me...ALL of our decisions! Well I don't know about the rest of you but I better go and start baking the wedding cake. See you all at the reception dinner.

Dear miri

When you start speaking for yourself then I will start to listen. Unfortunately all I hear is the US and at times the EU talking or telling you what to say and think. I can't say Albanians are really known for their strong leadership. It just goes to show that Albanian's in Serbia did much better than those in Albania.

Now I have an offer for you, come and join my club and you will prosper. All I want is your right leg. Deal?

Believe what you want about Kovoso's path but I know Serbia will never give it up.

to ZK: "In case anyone has difficulties understanding Kostunica, he is simply stating that should the EU enter Serbia without permission, then Serbia does not want to be a part of the EU. Simple isn't it? "

Mr. ZK, once upon a time a man said in the NAME of an entire people that that people was rather willing to starve (or eat grass, whichever expression you prefer) than deviate from the Marxist-Leninist line. This man unfortunately ruled Albania for almost half the century and brought the country into the brink of starvation. The man himself though built villas on every corner of the country.

I don't know where you are from but we Albanians for once have had enough from individuals who speak and take decisions in our name.

Kostunica is one of these persons. Any logical man should understand that there is no turning back on Kosova's path, so this person that claims to be able to divert Serbia's EU path is either a criminal or an idiot.
Simple isn't it?

Whether the EU cares is of little consequence. Serbia will stay firm and I think it's quite obvious why that is the case.

The EU works GREAT as an economic/free trade area and it is a mutually beneficial relationship for Serbia to become a member. As far as Kosovo is concerned, the EU should be allowed to pour in as much money as the EU taxpayers are willing to stomach.Recognition by some states of a unilateral declaration of independence by the KLA leadership will not mean very much in the long run considering Serbia will always hold the legal deed to the land.Shalom

"Whether it is a false dilemma that the EU must choose between signing the SAA with Serbia and the decision to send a mission to implement the rejected Ahtisaari plan, Dimitrij Rupel will find out on January 28,"
Mr. Đurić FYI Slovania can block the SAA.. the only one that can be surprised on 28th January mighb be you, caouse of your arrogance

miri

It's really unbelievable the arrogance of Serb politicians. Rupel is presiding over EU and this guy, who is nobody, thinks it has the guts to tell him what to say. Furthermore it launches some fake threats like "Rupel will find out on January 28" as if Rupel is going to lose any sleep over Serbia's rejection of SAA.

I guess on January 28, also Serb politicians will find out; they can go on hunger strike after that, because there is nothing else they can do.

Serbia wants to put the ball in EU hands, so that they can blame EU for the loss of Kosova, and not themselves.
And hoping that in the future they may gain some leverage by this, by making EU feel guilty. But no way, "double game" doesnt work.

Is any politician throughout the world is left out without being criticizes by Serbia, with exception of Russia and Cyprus?

Mr Rupel is not the EU which
is faced with a dilemma but
the Serbs who see the obvious
double standards of the EU
and NATO.The territorial
integrity of Bosnia and
croatia were enforced in the
1990s despite the declaration
of independence by both the
Republic of Krajina and the
Republic of Srpska.Why then
the special treatment of the
Albanians?
There're more than 600000
Serb refugees from Croatia
and Bosnia unable to return
to their homes.If Kosovo
becomes independent i cannot
imagine the Serb population
living under an albanian
administration.The result
will be thousands of Serbs
joining the swelling ranks
of refugees in Serbia.
If on the other hand the Serbs around the Mitrovica
region and the republic of
Srpska choose to unite with
Serbia then the EU will have
a real fight in their hands
as this could spill into croatia and slovenia .
