You need to revise your history. Unlike Serbia, Albania did not exist as a country, nor was recognised by the Ottomans until it achieved its independence in the 1912.

Illyria was never a state. It was comprised of tribes all over Balkans, mainly where today's Serbs, Bosnians and Croats are. They all differed in language, culture and customs. Therefore you are as illyrian as Serbs are.

As I mentioned previously, Albania was isolated and is still under developed. It should keep neighborly relations at bay, instead of sticking its nose in Serbia's INTERNAL affairs.

We were not involved militarily in the Kosovo war.
The Albanian people have never invaded Serbia, like Stephan Dushan and Co. did in the 13 cent.
We have never destroyed churches in the name of religion. I was born in a city(Berat, formerly also Belgrad) which has churches as old as 8th and 9th cent., and although 50% of the population is muslim there have never been any problem.
What the Serbs should do, is to see Albanians as an example of religious tolerance. If you take a look into the philosophy of Orthodox countries like Greece and Serbia you understand that their religious tolerance is zero.
So Geni, what has Albania done to deserve anyone's, and especially Serbia's respect?
Respect is earned, it is not automatic.
When the Kosovo independence talk taken place, certain Western Officials threatened Serbia with words such as ''vojvodina might be ripped away from Serbia as well''. In response Hungary denied any wish to seize Vojvodina, denied any wish to violate international laws and showed respect for internationally recognized borders.
That is called diplomacy and savvy neighborly relations. Regardless of how Hungary really feels about Vojvodina, it has publicly renounced any illegal views or actions, baring in mind its relations with its neighbor.

Serbia has been in war from 1992, then again in 1999, and yet its economy is way more advanced than Albania's. Do not worry about Serbia's isolation, as that won't happen. Better worry about Albania's integration and how it will catch up with Serbia, let alone with the rest of Europe.
