Jovan, you're right as usual. It's just that I am so fed up with this constant we will declare independence. It's quite boring now.

Threats and more threats. That's all we ever get. I say, they eather do it or shut up.

don´t be that fatalistic Peggy!

the US are on the way down, of course, but that doesn´t mean that we should be glad about it.

since it is the US who are providing Serbia with modern equipment to be perfectly prepared for day X...

I know what I am writing about, since I have seen a copy of shipping-documents.

so, let the Albanians celebrate their "friendship" with the US as long as they have the chance for that...

it won´t last eternally, especially not with the rise of Russia and China in the future...

merry christmas!

Enough already. Declare that independence if you are able to.
Don't forget, US is heading for a recession. How will they supply anything to you when they have their own problems now?

Hold on...! 3 months now...?

What happened to Dec 10th? Or New Year? Hmmm... I'm sure they said they'd declare independence Jan 20th because of Serb elections - then they changed to 3rd Feb...

What's going on guys??? Aren't you an illegal entity yet?

They say a week in politics is a lifetime... so you can imagine what could happen, (or not, in this case), in 3 months...!!!

Keep holding your breaths...!

TO ALL MY ORTHODOX BROTHERS - HAVE A WONDERFUL AND PEACEFUL CHRISTMAS!!!

Since Mr Thaci has removed those LDK Ministers that did nothing but ride around have ing lunch instead of working for the people things will be better in Kosovo. The Serbs should now have nothing to fear, Mr Thaci will stand by his word if people give him a chance.

Now this quote is funny: "Kosovo Albanians, unlike Kosovo Serbs, know very clearly what will happen in 2008." The fact is that the Albanians are heading quickly into a very dark unknown. It is more than likely that the UN handouts they rely on will disappear, their visas will no longer be valid, their trade routes will be more expensive and the price of fuel will make things tougher. With the UN winding down and Europe and the US heading towards recession, the EU and US will have a harder time providing the handouts for the Albanians, further cripling their economy. It's funny that the Kosovo Albanian thinks they know clearly what will happen in 2008. Even, the EU and US aren't sure of the future at this point.

So now its 3 months! in December they said it was going to be in January or at the latest February.

Do the Albanians not get it yet? Its not going to happen, do you not see that every time you get close to the date you set someone then changes it to a few months later.

Wow! your friends, The USA, UK, and France are really powerful in making your dreams come true, while Serbia has the Law, Russia and China behind them, it does not take a genius to see which side has the power.

The Albanians say "there is no more room for talks," dubbing further negotiations "pointless."

Given this stance, I would say don't expext neighborly relations to be any better.

History is long and nothing is forgoten in the Balkans. Instead of moving ahead, we can all sadly look forward to many more years of animosity and God knows what else.

Its good action taken by Thaqi removing every minister LDK had on their power, young and ambitious ppl needs to run the soon-to-become state

Jovan

some K-albanians are presenting a rather rosy future...

I´d not count on those optimists...they must say that, since their own ( financial ) interests are connected with it...

my dear albanian friends,
let´s just see what future brings!
