Nikolić: My victory will be Serbia's victory

What Serbia needs desperately now more than ever is a strong leader who will protect Serbia’s integrity, independence. I am not sure that Nikolic is the right man, but I am sure that Tadic is the wrong man. His weak, defeatist statements the other day proves that out. Integration with the EU no matter what the cost is fool hearty at best, destructive at worst. Slogans like “joining the EU is moving forward” but moving closer to Russia and other Eastern powers is backward, is just pure nonsense. Serbs have always been one of the most independent, freedom loving people on the planet. Many believe that joining the EU will improve their living standards so they vote for Tadic and his party. I ask, will joining the EU really improve your living standards? If yes then I ask, is living in a pretty cage worth it? Will moving closer to Russia and its allies mean your living standard will go backwards? You don’t have to choose between freedom and comfort, for both can be had.

Kosovo Muslim Albanians do what they are told: they will declare independence when the US-led NWO tells them it is OK to do so, similarly to their waiting to start the war in 1999 until US gave them the go-ahead sign. While the last time they waited for Serbia to be strangled and weakened by wars and multi-year sanctions before they started the war with US approval, this time the US wants them to wait so the treasonous politicians get reelected. After the election is over, the UDI will be a fact. It makes no difference who wins the election, the Kosovo will declare UDI. Serbs should vote who they think represents them best. If I was there, I would vote for Nikolic.

My heart says: "Good for you, hope you win and make Serbia and its people strong and respected as was once" but my brain says: "uh-oh, not again!"

And if he gets elected it's the IC fault. That's why they want to wait untill the elections are over to let Pristina declare indep. they know if they don't this guy will get elected. Serbia is trying to move forward & the IC is pushing them back. Thanks UDI supporters.

I don't know to much about Mr. Nikolic but if I have a right to vote I'll not vote for Tadic. The West is openly support him because they know that even when Kosovo will get independence he will come on his knees to EU.

Serbia needs a leader as we, Poles, had in 1918. Marshal Joseph Pilsudski. His only goal was an Independent Poland and he didn't care about western powers. And I have never hear he was corrupted even from his enemies.

Anyhow, in that part of message I stated that (praphrase): This would not be the first time Serbs lost Kosovo. They lost it before to the Ottoman Empire and got it back once the we defeated the. The American Empire will not be around as long as the Ottoman was, and Serbs will again get Kosovo back.

Frankly, the title of this article should be:
"Nikolić: My victory will be K-Albanian's victory".

We K-Albanians wish Nikolic to be selected the president of Serbia with all our hearts.

For some reason every problem that Serbia has Kosova is the scapegoat to blame either those "kosovo muslim albanians" (ddc) or the IC (delije). It seems the Serbs can't be at fault for their own problems at all.

And I believe that in order to free themselves from the prolonged transition the Serbs need to understand that the Kosovars deserve to be free from Serbia.

The religion of Albanians is Albanianism, this should be a good answer to ddc-serbiana guy. And yes, I, as an Albanian would vote for Nicolic as well, as I believe would do all Albanians. Go Nikolic! I believe he is the guy Serbia needs most!

I hope of kosovos sake this guy wins. he´s like slobodan milosevic and we all know what happend last time.

this time maybe the us will send you back to the stone age. And make sancak or vojvodina independant in the procces. So there will be belgrade left to the serbians.

I don't get it how this logic works. If it gets elected, and the elections are fair, it would only mean that the Serb population voted for him. IC has no vote in the Serbian elections, and listening to Serbs here one would think that they are pretty independent minded people (no pun intended)

Oh yeah, I wish Nikolic gets elected so that no more scarecrows are left in the Serb arsenal, with which to terrify EU of the consequences if they don't get their way. Let's see what kind of magic abracadabra will Nikolic be able to pull to get Kosova under the Serbian control again.

It seems to me Serbia is at a critical point in time where either they turn away from their disastrous nationalistic war mongering failed policy of aggression of non-Serbs, which will only led to guaranteed failure and international isolation or they can choose instead to face reality by recognizing the inevitable independance of Kosova,normalized relations with the entire world and possible future in EU and NATO.The time to break with the past is now.After instigating and losing four wars you would think they had enough. Only time will tell ,let's hope they choose peace, prosperity, commen sense and reality.
