Mufti: Kosovo should remain part of Serbia

This kind of statemnets coming from Serbia's islamic communities are more than welcome indeed. This means that islamic community within Serbia has no ittention or has no support from its religious leaders to make any separatist moves. I appreciate this reasnoble point of view coming from islamic community and its accepatance of the country that this community lives in.

in case you didn't really understood the muftis point of view please let me clearify it for you, he meant the serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija, not Presevo valley since that valley have NEVER been part of the discussion. It is in Serbia and will remain in serbia

Why did Saudi Arabia fund the building of new mosque in Kosovo? There is one near Camp Bondsteel on the man road to gjlan. Painted with the green to reflect Saudi Arabia. You don't get support for nothing folks. When you do have independence those countries who supported you will ask for favors and then you will see who is one who has been had.

Islamic statement have no value for Albanians. No religious statement or idea can convince Albanians that they should not be free and independent. Let one of the so called religios people say something about our matters in our face, I am sorry to say but he will be in big problems. And there won't be no G-d to save him.

There is no Mufti nor any priest Catholic or Orthodox that can convince us Albanians against independence.
We are Albanians first, and then we choose religeon, based on our desire. Albanianism kept us together and will to eternety.
I am Albanian Muslim Catholic, Orthodox, i belong to all three religeons.

wake up and smell the coffee. i'm albanian (catholic) and i consider myself a devout muslim as much as the vast majority of albanians. get real! albanian muslims are nominal muslims and it's more or less tradition w/them. they are far too bright to ever let extremism infiltrate their strong love for the SHQIPE. anyone suggesting anything else is spreading the soon to be ending propaganda out of belgrade. the same drum that's been repeatedly beaten on for years as a deterent to independence. a tool used to strike fear in the hearts of europeans. here's a fact for you...in the kosove, the parliament recently founded a "muslim" party (democracy) and it garnered less then 2% of the overall vote.

albanians are 98 pecent muslims as far as i know. i don't understand why you are ashamed of that. nothing is 100% good and islam is no different. but look at the good things about your religion and about your family traditions and the people you love and you will find ways to be proud of your heritage instead of rejecting it.
your friends, and your enemies will respect you more if you respect yourself.

Religion must be out of politics, otherwise it will lose its perception and dedication. Politics can never be such fair as religion is supposed to be... Let religious legates pray for us and for our countries, we all call for it...

for us religion has nothing to do with culture, we had culture even before religion in illyrian times, or in Scanderbeg times and was much better because we were united, Albnaian forever.
