Sorry to say this, but Cyprus is not the only EU country blocking a position on Kosovo. Greece, Romania and Spain are also reluctant to accept a Kosovo independence as this goes against their efforts to avoid the possible independence of their own break-away regions. Basques for Spain, Transnistria for Romania... So, this article is not fully informed!

Well Cyprus tried to block Albania from entering OSCE in 1992, it pretty much took a simple phone call from Germany to make Cyprus' legs wiggle.

It's not unusual for Cyprus to completely switch around by just a simple phone call, if the caller wants something done.

Greek Cypriots described as a trojan horse. It worked well back then and it seems to be working now.

Who says Serbia is alone in all this? Russia is the glue, but many countries are joined in mosaic.
It won't be easy to establish more Islamic countries in Europe.
Unlike England and France the other countries don't depend on the Muslim vote.

For the last 33 years Turkey
has been trying to change the
ethnic composition of Cyprus
by importing 300000 turks
from anatolia.Mullahs Erdogan
and Gull have both said on
many occassions that there is
now a new raelity in Cyprus.
There is also another reality
mr Erdogann that both Greece
and Cyprus are members of a
club that you will do anything to join and they both have the right of veto.
Also take a look at your
backyard and you will see
20 million Kurds that are
engaged with you in a civil war.The vision of an independent Kurdistan reaching from Ankara to Mosul
is becoming now more clearer.

of course, still, some propaganda-voices like Mr.Montgomery or Burns will STILL claim that Kosovo is a unique case..

if only they knew how ridiculous that sounds...

but, ...perhaps they even know it, but are forced to say that.

Well, you can't leave things pending in this century...that's old century news. Temporary solutions don't work well, they hinder investments and cause alot of setbacks. Which of course certain countries aren't mature enough to think that way and they'd rather oppress people based on negative feelings and stereotypes, but if they're gonna be part of a union.....they'll have to meet it's standards.

The Cyprus question will need to be answered, there's no avoiding it. Delays won't help either side.
