The people of Serbia should not be denied membership to the EU because of two war criminals. There are war criminals in all Balkans states, this should not hinder them from joining.

As for the Dutch and their hard stance towards Serbia with regards to membership, they should have had an equally hard stance against Mladic's army in Srebrenica, or left it to a more competent country's army.

Thanks god that some terms are evening out. Serbia deserves to be closer to Europe more then any other country of former Yugoslavia. They are the only ones to have shown any kind of remorse and even apologized for the crimes committed by Serbs. While Croats haven't even yet apologized for WWII let alone the ethnic cleansing that took place during the 90's. Muslims are following Croats footsteps.

Only a little insignificant gang: few within FIDESZ, few friends of Csurka's MIÉP and others who we are not proud of - want Vajdaság (Vojvodina) and northern Croatia (Szerémség, Szlavónia) back to Hungary. These few villains want to spoil the good Hungarian relationship with Croatia and Serbia for their own little benefit: get the power. They should probably try to re-draw the borders between Borneo and Celebes first.

Lenard, thank you for your albanian point of view. I was hoping we would have one on this story. Anyway, this man is right, what was OK for Croatia, should certainly be just as good for Serbia. If there is such a thing as fairness anymore, let's play that way. As far as the mentioned Dutch are concerned, they are only interested in putting all of Srebrenica's blame on Serbia, to clear themselves of their lack of effort. How quiclky we forget that the Dutch are being sued for standing by, as alleged atrociteis were being committed. Does not take an Einstein to figure out the Dutch agenda. I am afraid that the idea of an EU, which includes the Balkans, will take quite some time before those borders can be eliminated. Hate is a powerful force.

"because Croatia extradited General Ante Gotovina to the Hague Tribunal only after it signed the SAA with the EU."

Not much has changed in Serbia almost half of the members of parliament advocate Misolevic tactics and polesis. Just because Slovenia is interested buying Serbian Company's on the cheap. The Slovenians may think that other EU countries will go along with their immorality. Fore one thing is fore sure the Dutch will not go along. They seen personally what the Serb war criminals Mladic and Karadzic have had their murdering henchmen do to thousands of unarmed people in Srebrenica they will not rest until they are in prison. Every one knows they are given shelter in Serbia.

It's good to see that Slovenia and Serbia have developed good relations despite the breakup of Yugoslavia.

This should be a clear signal to some of the people in Zagreb, Sarajevo, and Pristina that European and regional policies are moving past the Serb bashing of the 1990's.
