B92 I thought that besides censoring comments you would at least have the courtesy of making spelling and grammatical corrections, as erni's post proves that you don't seem to take much notice of this?

To Laki - Our soul? Yes because Serbia's soul is stored safely in a oil company...

Please grow up. Most of Serbia's industry is either owned by Serbs or western nations. I welcome Russian investment just as much as any investment. Why should Serbia run a oil company when we barely have any oil in Serbia? Better to sell it off for good money to a actual oil producing nation such as Russia.

This is a very good deal, it would be foolish not to accept.

Laki,

At least Serbia has a viable economy and commodities to trade with. Tell me, what does 'Kosova' export these days besides guns, drugs and prostitutes.

Really laki, souls too right? I didn't know you were that spiritual. Can you tell me who is investing in albania? Besides the drug cartels.

As far as I know the Russians are still free to offer whatever they like. Its up to Serbia to decide what we'll do with it.
I think any privatisation should be fair and open. That's how we got a good deal on Mobtel for example. Why would NIS be different?
This offer is only a nice starting point. After this the serious offers and negotiations can start.

Russia threatens to Veto any UN resolution that gives Kosova independence.
In return Serbia sells to Russia entire its industry and its soul.
Great business deal!

This is a solid offer in my opinion. Of course Serbia could have tried to get even more for NIS through a competative tender but one has to look at the whole deal and its significance. I have not seen the way profits are going to be split from the transport of gas with Jugorosgas yet but if Serbia can secure a similar deal with Jugorosgas then I would say the deal is absolutely great.
