I think that Goran Pavic should be extradited to Serbia to face justice. And if he is not guilty, only then he could come back to Canada.

Already, there are too many alleged war criminals in Canada.

While good news for the obviously innocent Mr Pavic, Im sure the Croatian Gov has more evil tricks up their sleeve.

DETROIT - The United States government has dismissed charges against a Canadian detained last month as a suspected Croatian war criminal.

Goran Pavic, a 42-year-old truck driver from Kitchener, Ont., was detained at the Detroit-Windsor border in early November when U.S. authorities spotted his name on a list of Interpol arrest warrants.

Pavic’s alleged war crimes include arson and beatings in his native Croatia in the early 1990s.

The U.S. wanted to extradite Pavic to face the charges in Croatia, but his lawyer had argued there is uncertainty as to whether an extradition treaty exists between the U.S. and Croatia.

Pavic, who immigrated to Canada from Croatia in 1997 with his wife and four children, is set to be released from prison today.
