Fantastic insight Yaroslav..

Wouldn't it be nice if somebody could make some sort of Flowchart diagram of who's who in the Political/Financial world, and their ties to personal wealth and gain?

It would give a clearer picture of how things REALLY run..

Lazar, the western company that were interested in it was Dyncorp. The government chose them. they pulled out because it was to controversial for them to invest in Serbia since they have Madeline Albright as a major owner and were private military contractors for the U.S. military during the Kosovo war.

I wouldn't want Dyncorp to invest in serbia. I consider them "persona non grata." Personally, the best author should be accepted anfd only if it is clear that the investor has the funds for the project. Personally, I'd prefer if Swissport ivested since they are the largest company dealing in this industry.

I know that it's an emotional feeling when Russia is concerned, but it's a business deal with regional implications..
Plain and simple.
Perhaps creating a free trade zone between Russia and the rest of Europe via Serbia?

I don't know...
But what i DO know, is..

When money is concerned, we need to keep the emotions parked to the side..

Nobody knows this concept better than the Russians or the Americans for that matter...

Why should it start two weeks to start debating, and why should we even wait for this? It is a simple decision that must be taken. Some western company was gonna do this to solidify Belgrade's status as a regional center, but they then decided no. The thing is that the Russians want to help us a lot, but the current serbian regime does not want them in, as it is crystal clear that Russian investment is a big problem if one wants to join the EU and NATO.
