Jeremic is talking nonesense, democracy is sinking if Kosovo becomes independence what a imature thought. With those coments he is ignoring the people of Serbia and the democracy of Serbia or if it is corect what he is saying than god save the Balkan and EU.

Nicholas: Thats the problem people act out of their emotions and politicians love to stir them up for their own purposes gains ,power ,agendas as former Yugoslavia's peoples has been played upon like a violin. Instead of having cool rational thinking and questioning the motives of the politicians and out comes of their conniving. Instead of leaping to fore gone conclusions and in to horrendous disasters of death and destruction. Their is nothing more the politicians live off and love to have is be followed blindly and unquestionably.

Mr Jeremic, we didn't know that we are responsible for growing your baby democracy- it should have been an adult now, still growing for 18years- from 1990?
Independence now, your democracy is your business not ours... listen to Sarkozy- he was very clear.

Lenard and laki bani: You two sound like a couple of DJ's they way you spin things round round round. I'm starting to think some of you really miss Milosevic they way you bring him up and compare him to every Serbian politician or person that voices caution about Kosovo seceding from Serbia.

Jeremic is looking at a complex and emotional issue and is trying to work it out in a responsible way that is a win-win for the region.

The latest ‘jewel” by Mr. Jeremic just confirm the extreme confusion among the Serbian politics over Kosovo issue. This time, Mr. Jeremic would without hesitation blame the Serbian people for the past, present and the future. The cracking point is almost imposed according to his excellence, and that will most probably result with independence. But, what is worrying in here is the intention to get away as innocent as possible with such a justification as; He & co have gave their best to preserve the Democracy values embraced so strongly by Serbian Nation, but if someone tents to take away a part of Holy Serbian Soil – or better - the Serbian Cradle, or 15 % of Serbian territory - the same Serbian Nation will rapidly become radical and forget about any value of democracy! In other words; according to Mr. Jermeic preserving Kosovo (with all its contradictions) is equal to resolving every single problem for Serbian people such as: employment, health, education etc, issues that are deficient not only in Serbia today. So that, the Kosovo which has been lost by Milosevic eight years ago, will once more turn out to be a shame for the people who struggle for pure existence – exactly because of its attitude towards Kosovo.

Jeremic sounds like chicken little the sky is falling the sky is falling all because of Kosovo moving invariably to its independence day. He expressed fear that the capacity of democratic Serbia to continue reforms will reach its "cracking point" if the solution for the future Kosovo status is imposed. Democracy will take care of it self if the people of Serbia want democracy.
"The last thing our citizens expect us to do is go down the road that reminds us of the fatal path of Slobodan Milošević's regime, the regime which brought nothing but shame upon our country and the Serbian people," Jeremić said. So why is he in such a panic and trying to make an issue where their is none. The Serbian people are much more smarter than you think Jeremic. "The values of democracy embraced by our citizens in the elections held in 2000, and reconfirmed in all the presidential, parliamentary, and local elections, would be irreversibly delegitimized in the eyes of our people, in case of an imposed independence of Kosovo," Jeremić said at the conference. It looks like Jeremic is trying to send some kind of signal like martial law imposition in Serbia or going on a war footing and the suspension of the peoples unsaleable rights when Kosovo goes its own way.
