Swedish plan for coordinated independence

We've moved from supervised independence to coordinated independence. Next it will be phased in independence, and who knows what after that. Slowly but surely, the Serbian view in this is starting to be seen more and more. that bodes well for regional stability.

Serbia will have no influence in Kosovo? Are you dreaming, do you think that Kosovska Mitrovica will not be ruled by serbs?
Please explain to me how will the albanians try to throw out the serbs in northern Kosovo?

B92- why you put April 1? this clearly shows that you are same ... as others who are commenting here from serb camp.
anyway serbs will be happy of this intentionally done misstake, but it's not tangible for them, nothing will change for independence decision which is already taken, and in few weeks will be implemented.

Actually, I think the bigger picture and discussion here is beyond just autonomy and independence. Those two items can only satisfy one side or the other. I think we need to look at a more comprehensive solution here.

Klinsman you're failing to see the bigger picture. Whatever the final status will be; Serbia will have no ties with Kosova/o. The most Serbia will get, and the least will get, is an autonomous province of EU. Again Serbia will have o ties with Kosova/o. Hence you have the EU conditioning recognition of Kosova/o by Serbia with Serbia being part of EU one day. So if and when Serbia makes it in the EU it will not have any strange ideas over Kosova/o.

And you should stop kidding yourself. Pristina never controlled the north since 1999. That area is administered by the K-Serbs there. If you consider Nato and UNMIK keeping the peace between K-Serbs and K-Albanians as equivalent to "we control everything", well, that's your view but it is to me a most farfetched one!

Since Sweden is eager to make plans , perhaps designating some land is Svealand as independent Kosova could work better to make plan work.

Heck, they could even designate Carl Bildt as President.

Is Carl Bildt working for Tadic ? After he admitted that the RS "cleansed" from its eastern enclaves, had been dealt end with Milosevic of May 1995, after he had to give up apparently some trade interests within Russian petrol and gas companies, what is his new advantage in backing Serbia and Russia ?
