Russia: UN must annul unilateral moves

There is no clear position from the EU - all they say is we would want an EUMIK but dont explain when, who, how or or even if they can!

Like I said there will be;

No Illegal declaration
No Illegal recognition
No Violence

Surely the time has come for reality to sink in for the Serbian Albanians and accept the state they have always been in - Srbija!

To those who still believe in false promises it's best you approach the ones who gave it but they seem oddly silent!

Well,well, I guess Russia is not that weak country as some people like to point out here. I admire Russian's firm and principle stand over Kosovo issue. And as a desert after the nice meal comes divided UNSC. Resolution 1244 is very clear, no doubts.

The Kosovo Albanian leadership and their supporters are coming to realise that fooling some of the people all of the time leaves a hell of a lot of people that are no longer (or never were) fooled!

Whatever happens, legalised theft of Serbian land is off the table, permanently.

How frustrating, the same paper that Pristina signed (1244) is denying them their long life goal. What a pity.

European Union leaders said after a one-day summit that negotiations on Kosovo future were exhausted, the status quo was untenable and there was a need to move toward a Kosovo settlement. They stopped short of endorsing independence.

Independence is not going to happen this month or next month or in February or the spring of 2008 and in fact its not going to happen ever! The EU clearly will not recognize Independence and the Americans as shallow as they are know better than to recognize Kosovo alone. Its over!!!

Serbia has nothing to offer as she was FORCED OUT of the province because of its ethnic cleansing policies in Kosova. These are the REAL FACTS. Serbia has no influence whatsoever in Kosova's political and daily life and that was not because of a Serbian "offer". The attempts to represent the a defeated agressor as a generous guy are unscrupulous. Being on Serbian side it is the same as being on the side of a rapist. It is absolutely unrealistic and insane to think that the more than two millions Kosovar Albanians being Serbian citizen after all they have been through.

First of all when I read this article from Reuters yesterday it said that the decision on whether Albanian representatives could speak would be put to a vote and since Russia was in the minority, Russia would know they would lose the vote. Thus they accepted to hear the Albanian representatives knowing that if they didn't they would lose the vote. That was from Reuters. Here on B92 I read the opposite.

Jovan and other Serbs here. I have been telling about the plan about the future of Kosova/o and it seems to be working. Now you and many Serbs are finally claiming that according to this and according to that Kosova/o will never be independent, and you seem so calm about it just like you should. The plan provides for your calmness. We on the other side are telling you, that you can claim whatever you want; just watch us. Once each country recognizes independence individually what will Russia do to make those countries that go against 1244? Even if the UN head annuls it, would that mean that each individual country will stop recognizing independence? I think they will not. Can Russia ban from the UN those countries that still recognize independence individually even if the UN head annuls it. I think it can't because US, UK and France are part of the UNSC.
What will happen then? The Serbs will claim Kosova/ is not independent, while us will tell you think whatever you want, and if you think that is true just try and attempt to incorporate Kosova/o into Serbia, and see how successful you will be.

As I've said earlier a UN recognized independence would be the best, but in its absence we'll take anything that keeps Serbia's claws away from Kosova/o. And even if the US, UK, and France are the only one to recognize it, that would work. However we will wait and see. I have feeling that there are more states willing to recognize our independence than what you wish for.
As with regards to deadlines: I know that Serbs would love us to do something stupid, such as declaring independence without the approval of those states who fought to save our lives and are working for a better future of the Albanians of Kosova/o. It will come at the right time, and the time is nearing. You can then still claim whatever you want, after that.
