"'But if you call for violence in times of war, when civilians are being killed, then it is a criminal offence,' the U.S. professor concluded."

No kidding? What rock did the Hague pull this guy out from under? I'm an American and I've never heard of that law. People badmouth the enemy during our wars all the time and nobody ever gets prosecuted.

Does that mean we're going to prosecute Christopher Hitchens as a war criminal for his statements about the war on terrorism because he said, "The way to win the war is to kill so many Moslems that they begin to question whether they can bear the mounting casualties ... every Moslem you kill means there is one less Moslem to fight you".

i have been following the war crime trials in the hague for quite some time. in my opinion this court is not an independent and fair legal court as it is backed by the U.S and other western countries who oppose serbia. one thing that strikes me is how two serbs could have died at the hague. in particular milosevic who was nearing the conclusion of his 4 year trial. a bit of a coincidence if u ask me.

I wonder if the church leader, on a television program was ever prosecuted for calling to assassinate Hugo Chavez. It was discussed mildly in journalistic circles but mostly laughed off by everyone.
And to think this church leader is one of George Bushes best friends.
